    Stop-over in Clermont-Ferrand.

    On our way to Switzerland we stopped in Clermont-Ferrand at the hotel Campanille Le Brezet.When we arrived in the afternoon, and there were already few parking spaces available, but luckily we found a free place. The hotel is quietly located, the room was small, as in all Campanille hotels, but everything was available and clean.We also made use of the restaurant, which is a plus, but what we noticed was the small choice of the menue (3 options), but it was very tasty, we have to admit and the service was also very friendly. The parking was not closed during the night. Our rating: certainly good for an overnight stay in transit.     Stay here 11 th November 2021, room was clean, breakfast was good, evening young receptionist girl was lovely on arrival and helpful, it felt a relaxed place, next morning a change of staff and a different receptionist/breakfast young lady was there and looked depressed I would say not welcoming at all, anyway overall we were happy, what do people expect for this price, a clean room and all u can eat breakfast buffet at a affordable price, so I would recommend this place, Alain PARROT, General Manager at Hotel Campanile Clermont Ferrand - Le Brezet, responded to this review Thank you for your comments following your stay at the Campanile Clermont-Ferrand Le Brezet hotel.We were delighted to receive you and we are happy to see that your stay is going well.We would like to thank you for emphasizing the quality of our buffet breakfast and the kindness of the staff, which for us are guarantees of quality.Hoping to have the pleasure to welcome back to the hotel during a future stay in Clermont-Ferrand.

    Inedible food to gag for or on!

    The handicap accommodations were first rate with a superbly designed and accessible walk-in shower.However that said some of the food was very disappointing. Especially the andouillette which was quite disgusting and totally inedible from my perspective. Usually it’s a great favourite of mine having eaten it many times before. In this instance it arrived looking rather like a Donkeys Penis with the ubiquitous haricots vert beans smelling quiet frightful which warned my tummy that had I attempted a forkful would have had me rushing for the toiletI ventured cutting the beast open to see if it could be as disgusting as it smelt, I hacked off one end and cacophony of animal innards spewed out onto my plate. Fearing the worst I covered it up with my napkin and shared my wife’s burger. Alas my French is not up to complaining to the management!

    Absolutely faultless. Super clean rooms, a wonderful welcome and great well priced food. We slept like angels and the staff were the friendliest we have ever come across.     depressing

    We went for a room here but walked away as soon as we opened the door, the smell , the thin little mattress adn the dark gloom with some lime green cupboard in the corner...it was beyond awfulit smelt of mould and other dead things and so dark , felt like crying on opening the door . so we left and thankfully found an ibis. Fortunatly is not the view of my guests who give me good marks on many websites. They appreciate the matress which is 160 cm queen size, the big tv set and the colour of cupboard it doesn't matter for us. I invite you to come back again in our beautiful country named Auvergne and stay few days to see the new Unesco World Heritage which is "chaîne des Puys et faille de la Limagne".Best regards Travelbunny65.
