This hotel is located only around 3 km from Side, some 80 km from Antalya and 71 km from the nearest airport. This hotel is located on the road to Kumköy and enjoys convenient connections to Manavgat. The wide sandy beach is just a stone's throw from the hotel. Links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel, shopping facilities can be found 3 km from the hotel and restaurants, bars and taverns are approximately 500 m away.

Facility

511 rooms are available to guests in a 6-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. At the air-conditioned resort, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, bocce, basketball and Nordic walking. The resort offers various water sports, including water aerobics, or for additional fees, jet skiing and parasailing. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, bowling. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a spa, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Third-party operators offer a spa, beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Guests can enjoy a number of restaurants (non-smoking, smoking area, à la carte, air conditioning and high chairs). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive special can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. For guests, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as international brands are included.

    bars on site spoil the impression

    This is my fourth time staying at the hotel. Every year the hotel deteriorates, although at first I really liked it here. There are many bars on site, but they are dirty, the tables are not wiped down, the waiters are not attentive and not all of them are hospitable. The food in the ala carte is not all delicious. plastic utensils in bars are scratched and often dirty. Water delivery men rush into the room almost immediately after knocking. But it was the bars that were most upsetting. The cocktails are tasteless

    Just returned from an amazing 11 days at this hotel. This is my 3rd visit and I just think this hotel has something for everyone. The gym is great for someone like me who is a novice and Gonca the instructor is lovely. There are activities for everyone and the animation team work tirelessly to ensure guests are looked after. We mostly went to the Duden Bar in the evenings and the live entertainment was 1st class. We booked a room with a large balcony which was great for sunbathing. The a la carte restaurants are beautiful albeit we just went to Turkish and Fish restaurants. If you are in a quandary whether to book - my recommendation would be 100% yes.     This was our second visit to this hotel. Last year, it was just my husband and me, but this year we came with our daughter. We originally booked a suite, but upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to a King Suite instead. The hotel manager was very informative and took the time to explain and show us both suites. The King Suite was much bigger than the standard suite, and we definitely have no regrets about accepting the upgrade.Housekeeping was lovely. They made cute towel art in our daughter’s room and even left a chocolate drink in the fridge for her. One of the housekeeping staff also knocked on our door one day to ask whether we needed housekeeping service. She was extremely polite and cheerful 😄.We stayed in Room 1802, and we noticed that the batteries in the weighing machine were leaking.The air-conditioning vents could not be adjusted, and the air was blowing directly onto our heads while we slept, which was uncomfortable.At the main restaurant, there were a couple of occasions where no one came to take our drinks order, and cutlery was not placed on the tables. We usually arrived around 6:30 for drinks before dinner and around 7:30 for breakfast. Two days before we left, we came down for breakfast at 7:45 and noticed some servers standing around or attending to guests a few tables away while our section was unattended. I had to make several trips myself to get breakfast, coffee, and cutlery.My guess is that the server responsible for our section had either not arrived yet or was busy inside the restaurant. I feel the hotel management should encourage employees to help one another more. For example, one employee who had already finished setting up tables in his own section could have helped his colleague instead of standing around chatting. I say this after observing one employee in particular. However, on another day, I saw a different employee (who was also working there last year) rushing to set up a section that was not even his responsibility. He truly deserves praise for that.We also noticed a positive change in the staff this year. They no longer indirectly asking or hinting for tips, which was something that frustrated us during our stay last year.Special praise goes to your employee, Fatma, who was present nearly every dinner service. She is very observant and attentive to guests’ needs — clearing plates promptly and quickly asking whether we wanted more drinks when ours were nearly finished. We were lucky to have her serving us both last year and this year.The fitness room is well-equipped, but it can be frustrating because the glass doors allow people outside to look in while others are working out. It feels like there is very little privacy and it can be quite distracting.Breakfast was good, although the selection stayed mostly the same throughout the week. Dinner, however, was really good, with different themes on certain nights. They still have the sushi theme, which is unfortunately a big no-no for me and my family (I mentioned this in my review last year as well).One hygiene issue that concerned me was at the chicken serving station. The server handling the chicken lifted a trash bin behind her and did not change her disposable gloves afterwards before continuing to serve food. I had to decline the chicken and walk away when she offered to cut some for me.That said, I have to admit that the briyani was really good.The WiFi was unfortunately very poor. We had to rely on our own 4G data roaming most of the time.Would we come back again and recommend this hotel to family and friends? Definitely yes. Despite a few minor incidents, this hotel is still one of the best.     We spent a wonderful week at Side Star Elegance with my mother and sister, and all three of us were extremely happy with our experience. What stood out the most was the amazing and energetic animation team, who made our holiday even more enjoyable.A very special thank you goes especially to Ilhan, who truly left the biggest impression on us.
