Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, this resort is located in Side and is right by the sea. Guests can reach the centre after approximately 2.5 km. The nearest airport is Antalya (AYT), located about 61 km away. Gazipasa (GZP) Airport is approximately 107 km away.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2024. 514 non-smoking rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by 9 lifts. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Further services include a car hire service, a transfer service, 24-hour room service (for a fee), a page service and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine, projector and a flip chart and pens is available. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 2 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a queen-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A minibar is provided. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Pure relaxation in the hot tub (for a fee), fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball and archery. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts and squash. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a spa and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include 8 restaurants, a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive special can be booked. A breakfast for early birds and late risers, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide range of dishes. Diet meals, children's meals and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food (no extra charge) provides for little ones' well being. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Why is there a parrot abandoned behind bars at this hotel? With hardly any water or food? Dirty should I say also cage is filthy!

    It should stay closed.Not the advertised hotel. Reception staff rude made false promises. Room tired. No i e. Ream at all on site. Kept running out of drinks. Holes in ceilings everywhere water dripping o to corridors. Algae on side of pools. Most services advertised were shut and just building sites. Astonishing bad.😬😔

    **THE WORST HOLIDAY EVER!!**All I can say is thank the Lord for the Citizens Advice Bureau. We looked at the travel app and liked what was described and visited this resort, if you want to call it that for our wedding anniversary. I concur with all the negative reviews about this place and to all the negative reviewers if you did complain to management and your tour operator whilst on resort and have proof of this, check out "The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. The C.A.B told me about it!I don't like to have money taken from me under false pretences and wrote the following, please feel free to copy and paste, just change the details!To whom it may concern,I have returned from a holiday at The Sunrise Queen Resort Hotel, NO 7 SULEYMAN DEMIREL BLV. MANAVGAT, SIDE MAH, ANTALYA, TURKEY which was most disappointing.I went with my wife.Please find below a list of my complaints:1. Inadequate fire protection2. Inadequate room security3. Unsafe electrical points 4. Room décor not as advertised5. Locations advertised not available6. Services advertised not available We contacted you on 3rd September 2024 whilst on resort, with our grievances but you were unable to resolve the matter, and we were advised that as we had raised these issues whilst on site without resolution to now complain upon our return home.Under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 you have a responsibility to provide all the elements of the package contracted for as they were described. We are legally entitled to receive compensation from you for loss of value, consequential losses and for the disappointment and loss of enjoyment we suffered.     This holiday was a celebration for all of us but this hotel was disappointing in many ways. Rooms are tired and lack general repair to the basics, restaurants lacked any general service and know how. Food was poor and generally the same most days. Hotel advertisements on the website most of which were closed or didn't exist.

    Worst holiday I have ever had. This hotel has literally put me off ever going to Turkey again and I loved Turkey. Hotel is not a 5 star. 3 star at a push. Dirty, all green algae around rim of pools, cheap food (if available). Queuing for drinks was unbelievable. No ice cream available on some days. Wires hanging out of walls. No air con working in many rooms. Showers leaking all over floors. We changed rooms 3 times and didn’t get the view we payed for but took the room as the shower and air con didn’t work in others. The guy on reception was the rudest man I have ever met and just wanted more money to change rooms that were defective, were told if we didn’t like it to leave! Honestly, I cannot express how terrible this hotel is. I always take reviews with a pinch of salt but trust me this place is absolutely awful. I wish I had believed the negative reviews I had started to see before we went here. I could go on and on but all I will say now is Do not waste your money going here! It is not a holiday. I am amazed anyone gives this hotel a positive review!!!
