    Amazing holiday

    rating17 Sept 2019

Just got home from a 10 night stay at villa moonflower. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by 2 friendly men on reception. The hotel is exceptionally clean there are always cleaners around cleaning and the rooms were always cleaned and to a high standard.Rooms were great spacious and the air con was a plus especially with how hot it was. We paid the extra to have Wi-Fi in the room otherwise you can only get Wi-Fi downstairs. The pools and bar area were great the kids loved the aqua pool with the slides and spent most of the days there. Just be careful if you buy inflatables as people tend to take them and you end up buying again and again. The staff always had a smile on their faces and went out of their way to help you, nothing was too much trouble for them and our children took quite a shine to a few members of staff and they always made time to say hello to them or give them a quick high five. The food is great for adults not so much choice for children but you can order off the children's menu if needed. We had an amazing holiday and would Definitley return in the future. Thanks villa moonflower!! :)

    Great hot holiday

    rating17 Sept 2019

We arrived here on the 6th September mid afternoon and as soon as we arrived we were greeted exceptionally by the front of house team these lads made our holiday so easy anything we needed they sorted for us...The hotel itself was lovely the cleaners worked all day long and the rooms were always spotless..The food was great for adults but not for fussy children but my son only likes chicken nuggets and chips so that's not the hotels faultThe pool and the waters slides were amazing the kids and me loved themIf you go into the town centre make sure you go to Picasso's restaurantThe sea was ridiculously warm and clean although after about 5 metres out it was too deep for small children, the jet skis were £40 for 15mins which I though was great value especially to see my 4 year old dare devils boys face when smashing through the waves To all of the staff at villa moon flower thank you so much for a great holiday you were all amazingThere isn't many English at this hotel but over these parts of turkey it's to be expected it did not ruin our holiday as the English speaking family's we met also made our holiday I would definatly recommend this hotel

    Almost everything satisfactory.

The hotel lies in an residential area. It stands up with its 10 floors, among much lower buildings. Just outside the hotel there are not much. Behind the hotel a modern, cheap supermarket. After a few minutes walk, you find lots of simple restaurants and shops. The big street is 1 km awayl. If screaming kids disturb you, I recommend floor 8-10. Not much more expensive. Beds very comfortable, but pillows (as in every 2-4-hotel) hot. Bring your own. I did not try the food. The small pools had good temperature. Not everyone in the reception speak good english.

This has been the best holiday ever! This hotel has been a massive part of it.

    rating19 Sept 2018

Hotel - Fantastic! A good few hours from Antalya airport. But worth it to holiday in Alanya. Helpful reception staff who can speak fairly good English. You can book your trips from them, they will call you taxis if you need them and are pretty helpful with anything else you want. Day trips are about £20 to £30 pp and there's quite a lot to choose from. Most include food and drink whilst you're on them. There are 2 quite posh lifts servicing the 10 floors. Cards are used as keys to get into your rooms. You can use the card to buy things from the shop downstairs, cocktails at the bar ect that then get charged to your room that you can pay when you leave. Decent sized pool, along with a massage room, hairdresser/barber, and a guy that does sunset photos down cleopatra beach. The games room is the worst room in the hotel. The snooker table has been ruined by kids (the balls were chipped and the cues had no tips) they charge you £2 for the privalige too! Computers from the arc, air hockey that doesn't work. No air con working in there either. The pool area is lovely. Plenty of chairs to go round and a good amount of umbrellas. Pool is cleaned every evening. Key safe costs about 50p a day. Internet in bar and pool area is free, but it will cost you extra if you want it in your room. Guests from Russia, Germany, France and a few English, but not many. I definitely prefer this though. Made friends with a nice english family, but it's been nice not to hear our language too much. The rooms are lovely and come with all cooking equipment, fridge freezer, coffee machine and microwave. Nice size balconie too. Food - Really good most of the time. The cake selection is very impressive as is the fresh salad and fruit. Breakfast is a bit weird with having roast potatoes everyday. On a Thursday you get onion bahjis which are amazing! Lunch is a bit hit and miss. Can be excellent or just feel like leftovers. They do burgers out of meal times which have always been decent though. Dinners are pretty good, not a massive selection, but what they have is nice. Some nights they really go to town and have so much to choose from others are a bit underwhelming.Clenleness - Excellent. Always cleaning. Do a great job of our room daily. Toilets downstairs lovely, modern and clean.Staff - Very friendly! Really decent people work here and work so hard. Asgard and Kemal working the bar at night are brilliant.Value for money - Outstanding! We paid £900 total for two of us 10 nights all inclusive including return flights. Say £400 was for our flights, £500 for 10 nights, £25pp per day for a decent room, amazing view, air con, unlimited food and drink from 8am to 11pm. We have travelled mid September which obviously helped with the price but its still 30-35 degrees and sunshine every day.Entertainment - Not great. Cheap and cheerful and not always that cheerful. Something on most nights, but a bit boring. Usually only on for an hour or two. Snake lady was good though.Good points - Great value for money. Very clean. Pretty good food. Friendly staff. Would recommend highly and definitely come back again. Would consider going self catering though as food and drink is so cheap here and I'm eating and drinking just for the sake of it most days. Where improvements could be made - Games room could do with updating. New pool table, balls and cues. Things need to work in there. Staff could brush up a little on there English. Can be quite confusing for both when the lad on the bar has never heard of water (It's Su by the way). There was some confusion one night when another English couple (who were also all inclusive) tried to order a cocktail that had been having at the sister hotel (sunflower). They had to speak the manager to sort it out as the barman was saying 1 local spirit, 1 mixer only. Maybe a bit more detail of what you can have all inclusive and continuity between the 2 hotels wouldn't go miss. As for the entertainment, most nights it would be better to have none.Summary - This has been the best holiday ever! This hotel has been a massive part of it. If your thinking of coming here, might be worth just learning some basic Turkish. You don't need to, but will help. They have a laundry service here, so pack light and use that. Will save you £50 a case. See the difference in price for all inclusive and self catering. As the facilities here are good.
