  Quiet, relaxing, green and amazing views. Really amazing place and amazing owners. Quiet and secluded away from all the crowds yet close to Turkbuku if you want fun. Must see the museum of the owner. The owners really take care of you very friendly people.

  A truly Turkish experience and get away

  If you seek a beautiful, private location, in a home like environment, this is the hotel for you. Antik Zeytin is hidden away up on the hillside about 15 mins out of Turkbuku village; so you must rent a care in order to get around. The entrance gate to the property is hard to find, and is located on a curve, so be careful when driving. The host family are delightful and so helpful; they even took us for a day out yachting on a friends boat since the commercial charter boats were all booked. The several rooms and cottages all have beautiful views out to sea, are all hand built from natural stone and mature olive trees and verdant gardens are everywhere. The hosts prepare home made delicious turkish breakfast from their open air kitchen overlooking the large pool; this is the social and focal point of the property. If you wish to eat lunch or dinner with the host family let them know in advance; they are gourmet chefs and you will need bet better traditional Turkish cuisine anywhere else. We were so spoiled by the food! Do make sure to visit their private art gallery. It is full of historical and eclectic paintings, sculpture, artifacts, carpets and furnishings. Its such a quiet location, a great nights sleep and total relaxation. We stayed 10 days and just loved everything about this very special accommodation and the host family; it made our visit to Turkbuku special and personal, I think everyone who stays here returns time and time again; we plan to!

  Hidden treasure in Bodrum-area

  Visited Antik Zeytin the first week of May and stayed for 1 week. Very nice appartment in a beautifull garden. Relaxed atmosphere, clean rooms and suuroundings and very nice and large pool under the olive trees. Felt very much at home starting with the warm welcome of the owners and their dog & 7 cats. Two very helpful, warm and beautifull people.I'm sure we gonna visit this place again in the near future.

  This hidden gem of a hotel is not for the travellers that like smooth surfaces, straightforward service and nature-free accommodation... Here, everything has a story, every detail has a reason, and the owners are the warm, welcoming type that are truly hands-on. What I liked most is that the rooms are built into the nature -almost invisible from the road, and the whole concept is environmentally-friendly, pet-friendly, etc. If you don't want the crowded-family hassle that plagues Aegean beaches, this is the perfect place for you too.

  Guaranteed relaxing, awesome romantic houses in a wonderful garden complex

  My husband and I attended a wedding in Bodrum and we simply couldn't have found a better place to stay, than Antik Zeytin. I am so glad we found this hotel, I will tell everybody to go and stay there. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they treated us as if we were a long time no seen friends. It's a complex of small houses in the side of a hill, quiet, far away from the noisy parts of Bodrum. Each house has its own tiny path and a terrace with 2 chairs.There is a big, clean and well kept swimming pool, with minimized chlorine treatment. A gallery room is also a part of this complex, with a collection of gorgeous paintings. The lobby is a wide opened terrace, with a very nice view. You just forget about time when you sit there and drink a cup of tea. It's also a great place for animal lovers, as there are 7 cats and an adorable puppy at Antik Zeytin. They are all friendly. The houses (one big bedroom and a bathroom) are clean, the bed is comfortable, it felt like we had our own little romantic place. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated and there is a huge amount of shampoo, soap and shower gel at hand, which I have never seen in any other hotels. There is also a hair dryer and cotton sticks the guests can use.The only thing I really missed in the house was the power outlet. We had an ipad, a laptop and 2 cell phones, and we had to unplug a lamp and put the phone in the bathroom if we wanted to charge them.The home made breakfasts and lunch were heavenly, another big plus in comparison with other, more like hotel hotels. But this isn't a hotel. This is HOME. The best holiday experience in the past years. Highly recommended.
