  Worst experience ever

  Total disaster! The worst experience I’ve ever had. Nobody speaks English, only “yes” or “no.” We stayed 10 days and the room was cleaned only twice – and only after I complained. Both times the cleaners left a horrible smell in the room, like something had died inside.This resort has over 900 rooms but only one pool that barely fits 10 people. The restaurant was a nightmare: flies, dogs, cats, dirty and unhygienic everywhere. The sea was even worse – instead of sand, it was full of cigarette butts.The kids’ play area was shocking. It was under the burning 40-degree sun with no shade at all, separated only by a net from the garbage bins. Unsafe and unbearable for children.I could list so many more problems, but I’ll stop here. I wasted 10 days with my family in what felt like hell, not a holiday. Save yourself and your family – don’t make the same mistake!   NOT A 4* not even close, if you do happen to go do not stay for 2 weeks. Rooms hardly cleaned properly, clean sheets once, no idea what food was in the buffet nothing had labels, management pretty disinterested except the entertainment manager and his team, if it was not for them would have changed hotels! Nothing close by town is 15 mins away by bus and pretty nice, Bodrum is around an hour away by bus. Transfer we booked was shuttle bus, around an hour when we arrived as only one other drop off but 2 hours on departure as had 3 pick ups excluding ours.   Poor quality of services. Dirty beach (this is cigaret beach instead of sandy beach). Lot of strays dogs and cats inside/around the hotel and on the beach. There is not any shopping or fun around the hotel (just 3 small market shops and one restaurant).   Reception:No one at the reception speaks English—they use a phone translator to communicate. They’ll answer a specific question and that’s it—no extra information, no suggestions, no advice. They seemed quite unorganized, unfortunately. Honestly, I’m surprised they hire people for the front desk who don’t even know basic English.Rooms:Clean—and that’s pretty much it. There’s a fridge, but no iron, no kettle, and the TV has only one German channel. The air conditioning was blowing straight onto my bed, so I had to turn it off to avoid catching a cold. You can tell it’s an old hotel—phone cables taped together, same with the hairdryer in the bathroom. The hot water from the shower barely ran. The tap water is salty (probably taken straight from the sea—it tastes exactly like seawater) and definitely not suitable for drinking. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms.Room cleaning works like this: during the day, someone knocks and says “clean?”. They understand only “yes” or “no”—don’t bother saying “later” or anything else. I said “later” once, and no one came back for the next three days.Food:I’ll divide it into edible and inedible. The best part was the desserts.There are stray cats walking around the restaurant, and flies buzzing over the food. The dishes are not labeled in any way—not even a mention of allergens. The best (or worst) part is the bread section where people grab loaves with bare hands, cut off pieces, and leave the rest for the next person.Bar:The best part of the hotel. The bartenders are friendly and quick with drinks. Nothing more needed.Pool:A bit small for a hotel this size. Also, not enough sunbeds.Location:If you want to die of boredom, this is the perfect place. You can’t get anywhere on foot from here.Beach:Two minutes’ walk from the hotel. Trash is blowing around, stray dogs are sunbathing, and you need to watch out for dog poop. The sea water is clean though, and sunbeds and towels are free.Extra Info:Hotel salespeople will follow you around the hotel, pool, and beach trying to sell you tours, spa treatments, or whatever else they offer.Also, beware of local kebab places that don’t list prices on the menu—you can guess why.I chose this hotel as a very cheap last-minute deal, so I didn’t expect anything more. I’m not complaining, just sharing my honest opinion in case someone else has different expectations. I just wanted a cheap place with good weather to catch some sun—and the weather was great.
