  Amazing sunset

  Very Nice hotel! Excellent view from the terrace. Amazing sunset from the hotel. All the negative comments from other tripadvisor users don't have to do anything with this hotel but with another hotel in the area. Just have a look at the pictures and you"ll see by yourself. Kemal, the place owner is very kind and welcoming. There is a blue beach flag near the hotel. Affordable prices. , Yönetici at Hotel Blue, responded to this review Hi my frend.We thank you.   I stayed at this hotel 3 days ago. First off all, I readed commentary in this website before decided to go there. I called the hotel that gave some information about this case such as bad condition, not clear, unacceptable etc. A man answered my questions. The hotel management changed this year and changed everything. As far as I understand, this was significant information for me. I booked the hotel just 2 days. Because I had apprehension. I arrived and this was wonderful enterence also so clean floor. The hotel manager so sweet and talkative. It concerned all of them. The room was clean everytime. In addition the workers so smile. In summary, I stayed 8 days. It was so great holiday. It not may be consider old remark I guess. , Sahibi at Hotel Blue, responded to this review My friend.We have seen new comments on this site.   Great view but .........

  I stayed at Hotel Blue with Friendship Travel in June 2013. My first impression on arriving in the early hours of the morning was that we were in the middle of nowhere, on a dusty track with an abundance of barking dogs. Communication between the FT office and the Hotel was extremely poor with the result that my confimed reservation for a balcony and sea view room was not communicated to the hotel and I was allocated an unacceptable, squalid ground floor room facing the road and overlooking the scrubland that is affectionately called 'the garden'. One of my fellow travellers agreed to swap rooms, for which I was very grateful and I did ultimately get a first floor sea facing room, which was much better but still very basic.The shower door was hanging off; the shower mixer did not mix hot and cold leaving a choice of scalding or cold until some days, there was no hot water at all and the only option became cold.The food was poor. Very low budget, very limted choice and I was very ill for 3 days of my one week stay. In fact about half of the guests were ill at some point that week which, I think, is too much of a coincidence for it not to be hotel related.There was a fridge in the room and an extra charge if you wanted to use it. £25 per weekAir con - and an extra charge if you wanted to use it. £35 per weekA safe and - you guessed it - an extra charge if you wanted to use it. £10 per weekThe TV didn't work and I didn't bother to ask whether it might if I paid extra.The hairdrier plug fell apart, so that didn't work - but in fairness, when that was fixed there was no extra charge.I had the overall impression that the management of this hotel care little for guest comfort and satisfaction and, in my view, if Friendship Travel value their reputation, they should ditch it from their programme.The pool and bar area are nice enough and, thankfully, the people were nice and the domestic staff did their best but this hotel is way overdue for a full refurb.   Check out the photos of this hotel as I think it has been confused with another of the same name. The one I am reviewing has a totally rectangular pool and is not overlooked by other premises. Ok, now you've realised that you are reading about the correct one, what can I say....Friendship Travel had the sole use of this hotel in September 2012 and I have to compliment them on finding another jewel in Turkey. The rooms are functional, beds comfortable and the bathrooms thoroughly fit for purpose. Having shower cubicles meant no damp toliet paper, as can occur in Turkish hotels. The pool is a good size for 20 rooms, the staff very helpful and, most of all, the cleaner does a fantastic job and was totally trustworthy. On the minus side, the food wasn't brilliant, but then again I never went to bed hungry, and the claim of there being a beach within 100 yds is a little far fetched. Yes, the sea is within 100 yds, but not the beach you'd expect by such an endorsement. In reality, the true beach is a 25 min walk away, but well worth it. Ultimately, as a 2* hotel it ticks all the boxes it should and does not fail in expectations. It's clean, functional, very relaxed and ideal for the solo traveller with FT. Would I go back there. Yes.

  As 2 star goes this hotel is a good basic but found it quite noisy having a room facing the road, traffic heavy for good part of the early morning and night would be better having a room facing the pool area. Buffet breakfast was o.k. but evening meal was luke warm at the most, poor quality. Pool area good, bar has limited supply of drinks, rooms adequate but shower needed a good clean. , Sahibi at Hotel Blue, responded to this review Hello there;The hotel changed hand in 2014.
