  Not A Good Time To Stay Out Of Season.

  The apartment was spacious and clean. Unfortunately it’s located adjacent to a building site! So at 08:30 you hear the workmen with their hammers and power tools. This carries on until 18:15 when it’s dusk . Then on the night of November 14th, concrete was being laid till 00:30!! I found this to be totally unacceptable. I filmed it, sent it to air bnb and checked out the next morning. I could not bare another fortnight of misery and loud noise. There’s a nearby mosque which also starts at 06:25. Added to this a busy main road is close by and the odd barking dog at night. The kitchen is poorly equipped, one knife!! No corkscrew, tin opener, chopping board, toaster, cheese grater, wooden spoons, sieve or even washing up liquid, a tea towel and dishcloths. Pathetic really, you would have more if you were camping.If your stay is a week then this isn’t too much of an issue. I had booked the apartment for one month and expected a bit more. The sofas are uncomfortable and the bed too hard. No interaction with the host. When you try and message her, the concierge Gircan answers. He tries his best to accommodate you with his limited English. He kindly brought me some more coat hangers, a blanket and a heater. The cleaner attends the apartment daily. At the time of booking, you get the impression it’s a German woman whose lived in Turkey many years. This makes it more personal which is the whole point of air bnb for me. The reality is it’s hotel apartments. Misleading in my opinion. The tiny tv only has local channels unfortunately. Wi Fi speed is fine. I had booked this overpriced one bedroom apartment for a month. No water in the pool, even though the photos show otherwise. The listing does say seasonal. I also waited over ninety minutes at the airport to be collected ( for a fee ) as the driver went to the wrong terminal to collect me. Disastrous stay, I unfortunately cannot recommend.

  Charming little apartment in a good location

  We really enjoyed our stay here, as it is located in the middle of Bodrum City and Bitez beach where we often went. The rooms are lovely and clean and you have everything you need for a self catering flat. The shower is perfect, so is the bed and the pool was amazing. Always clean and perfect for a late afternoon dip once you are back from town. The apartments are situated in a quiet area of Gumbet, and the little local restaurants on the main road had the best mixed grills we had in Bodrum! So cheap and delicious...and there are supermarkets everywhere so easy to find. Ante is a lovely friendly lady and so is her helper.Our only issue was with the air-conditioning which kept turning itself off but we have raised this and they will hopefully fix it as the units are brand new!

  Small basic cosy appartment

  These appartments are in a quiet area in Gumbet.The crew is very nice and helpfull.The appartment is basic, but ok.Nice swimmingpool and places to sit and relax.Advice: rent a scooter and you can visit al the nices places in this area.Gumbet in spring is quiet, nice and calm.I think in summer this will be different....

  Small hotel for low budget

  Casa Bodrum is a small hotel located in the Gumbet area of Bodrum ,Turkey .From the marina where to see all the nice ships can be accessed by a local bus which passes every 15-20 minutes and is reasonably affordable.It is operated by very nice and helpful people .We were even given excellent information on hings to see and places to go.I would recommend a day trip to Gumushluk .On the down side the bed was extremely hard which gave me back aches and the shower has no curtain so the toilet is in the path of the shower stream.A bit odd and a shower curtain could be a good thing .Again it is a low budget place to be and is clean .During the summer it is close to the night life and must be very animated .

  Me and my boyfriend had an amazing weeks stay at casa bodrum! Apartment was really lovely and very clean. The owner and staff were all really nice and very helpful giving us advice on beaches etc to visit. The pool area was a real highlight it was always really quiet, perfect :)
