Excellent staff/service, decent hotel, no funny business or deception. Surefire place for a nice getaway.

    rating26 May 2026

We came here for a four night stay in early May. I'm not going to review the area or weather because neither of these are on the hotel. We also forgot to take any photos worthy of showing off.We arrived just before 9PM, got checked in and shown our room very quickly and made it to dinner on time (which ends at 9:30, we were racing against the clock), one restaurant worker offered to get us drinks instead of us going to the bar - all these factors made for an easy, hassle free arrival which is exactly what we needed after the journey. I was already left with a fantastic impression from here, could not appreciate it enough especially as an impatient individual. I figured these guys know service. Our room was one of the furthest from reception, way at the back but only about two minutes walk. I suppose the bonus is that you hardly get any noise at this distance apart from your neighbours, but we were never woken up at night, maybe we were lucky. Surprisingly with a room this far back, the WiFi coverage was good, it occasionally disconnects and requires you to manually login/reconnect but it's easy enough once you're used to it, just requires your passport number and room number. For anyone wondering like I did, the WiFi/internet is fine (and free) here. We were, as stated, far from the reception and it never dropped on us except when prompting a reconnect (I assume for security purposes). It wasn't slow or spotty, it got the job done and worked as intended. You find some hotels that charge for WiFi or only give access in reception, many of which we strongly avoided during our holiday search, but rest assured this is not one of those hotels as the internet works fine everywhere, so big plus there. The room decor/lighting/bathroom all look nice, actually better than I expected (or feared), having picked the standard/cheapest room. Unfortunately it's not great functionally because it's a bit cramped even for two people, we could've done with more surfaces to put things on. The shower in the bathroom was great which is always a 50/50 at hotels, but the bathroom was a bit annoying with toilet paper placement jamming into your thigh (can hardly use it while sat down, even as a normal sized person, which is far from ideal) but otherwise we didn't have an issue with important stuff like cleanliness. Service was good in this regard - the shower gel/shampoo was out and when we let reception know, they replaced it pretty quickly. They also had to supply us with a proper blanket because while it was cold/windy/rainy outside, we only had a paper-thin one, but they remedied this quickly so I can't fault them on that, it's more of a curiosity than anything. Also, don't expect anything special from the TV. It's local channels, but I assume people aren't going on holiday for TV anyway.Another minor negative about the room is that safe access costs, which isn't nice when you want to put your passports/travel documents away securely. We carried ours around instead. Maybe it's controversial but I don't think safe access should cost. Not that we distrust cleaning staff or anything but it is easy for things to get misplaced, it'd be nice to have free access to a bit of security. On the first night, we noticed the outdoor sprinklers, for some reason, spray on the paths which is a bit annoying as you have to wait them out, then try not to slip as you go past. The hotel is, as pictured, by the beach. The beach isn't fantastic but not horrid either. We did go in early May so the weather wasn't holiday-level, and I assume it was technically "off season" but the water in the bay looks clean and is nice to sit by. The sand was a bit dirty but I assume the heavy winds at the time had something to do with it, so I won't fault the hotel here since the hotel itself was kept very clean. The hotel has three pools (as I recall) and one is connected to a bar. Some feel hidden away and spread out, but walk around, take a map, and you'll find them. There aren't any properly deep pools, the max depth is 1.6 metres. We didn't swim much because of the weather, but you can tell the pools would be fantastic in the summer. Even when the sun's blazing at 25-30C, the pool will freeze the less experienced swimmers like myself. In our four nights, we saw maybe a total of 10 people in any of the swimming pools, so plan your trip accordingly.Food is mostly decent, never an issue with lunch/dinner. Breakfast is a bit bland and tasteless compared to other all inclusive hotels I've been to (Turkey included) but lunch/dinner and desserts were okay. I have to say the dessert variety was always fantastic. During breakfast, I'd avoid the baked beans (or try them once out of curiosity). For something that should be a staple, they tasted awful. Drinks and bar service are also standard as expected. Coffee is from a machine, nothing special there, it's passable.Speaking of food, the snack area was something to look forward to every day. Good, wide variety, and ice cream/waffles available nearby as well which made for great, addictive dessert. It genuinely had me grateful that I picked all inclusive. Snacks were big enough for a meal - I'd regularly get the burger/chips and the chicken strips (highly recommend the strips, they ran out on our last day unfortunately) and it was like having a fourth meal in the day. Kids would enjoy the options too since it's basically fast food, but they did do other foods like pasta.Minor note. Most staff around the hotel spoke/understand English which made things easier, the only place where they didn't was at the ice cream/waffle area, so communicating our order/questions (particularly about the ice creams that had no labels) was a little difficult. Not a huge issue, though, just worth noting. I can't blame the staff here as they try their best, but I would recommend that management put labels on the ice cream flavours at least, and a board with waffle options.I don't have much to say about the entertainment. They do a kids show every night, then a more unique one every night after dinner finishes up which is 9:30PM or around then. My favourite was the breakdancing act they did, other nights they did a cultural Turkish dance or karaoke. You'll find something different every night. That's about it.Sometimes you book a hotel at a good price and worry that it's deceiving or nothing like the pictures, but everything about Parkim Ayaz either met our expectations or pleasantly surprised us. We never had a single impolite member of staff, everyone was as helpful as could be, in fact when we had no cash for pool towels, the staff gave us some anyway and politely asked us to return them later (and we did). The premises itself looks really nice and is just relaxing to be at, which made up for two of our days having bad weather. Not sure if I've forgotten to cover anything, but I'd say this hotel lives up to the reviews/rating. I cannot stress enough how good the service is and, unlike many hotels in holiday destinations, the staff actually looked like they enjoyed working here, which can really be make or break for your experience. If any hotel staff/management read this, here were my key issues that could be improved:- Not enough tables/surfaces in the hotel room.- Breakfast could do with some work.- The sprinklers feel like a slip hazard waiting to happen.- Bathroom is a bit cramped.- More chicken strips for the snack area because those things are addictive and everyone needs to try them. It's a fairly tame list simply because nothing horrendous stuck out to us. I hope this helps any potential visitors make their decision, and also helps the management of the hotel in fine tuning what works and what doesn't. Thank you, staff/management at Parkim Ayaz!

    Fantastic staff, location and food

    rating24 May 2026

Stayed for 10 nights beginning of May 2026. Had an amazing time. Food was delicious and just got better and better throughout the 1st week by which time we were looking forward to what we were expecting for the final 3 nights. Staff are fantastic, very attentive and friendly, though not fluent in English. Cleaner was great and cleaned room every day to a high standard. Room was dated and the only English Channel on the tv was a couple of news channels but we spent the majority of the time outside. Noise was a bit of a problem from the bars on the Main Street but it didn’t interfere with our sleep. Gym is good with a range of different weight lifting machines and treadmills, exercise bikes. Weather was also great but do check night temperatures forecast as all communal areas are outside, so you might want to pack a couple of hoodies or a coat if forecast to be chilly in the evening. Be sure to tip staff at the end of your stay, they truly deserve and appreciate it. We will definitely be returning again to this hotel.

    Something for everyone

Just back from our 3rd visit. Something keeps pulling us back to Parkim. It's not 5 star but we love it.Great new addition of the new snack bar this year and the earlier opening time for it suited us perfectly. The gardens also look amazing. We really thought the quality of the food in the main restaurant was better this yearWe had a room near the bubble pool so was lovely and quiet.Yes it's noisy in some areas of the hotel but you can easily avoid if you prefer quiet. The only thing we'd like is maybe some background/chilled music around the ladybird bar area. We like to sit there in an evening instead of going to watch the entertainment.

    Glad to be home.

I left Parkim Ayaz Hotel feeling far more emotionally drained than rested. The hotel itself may look lively and appealing at first, but when I needed support during a genuinely upsetting situation, I felt completely alone. I was distressed, vulnerable and clearly struggling, yet the response I received from management left me feeling dismissed rather than cared for.The atmosphere of my entire holiday changed after that. Instead of relaxing, I spent most of my remaining time anxious and on edge. I stopped enjoying the resort, avoided going out alone and counted down the days until I could come home. For me, a hotel is not just about pools, food or location — it’s also about feeling safe and supported if something goes wrong. Sadly, that was not my experience here.I would not stay here again.
