  My friends and I visited this newly opened boutique hotel and had the most wonderful experience! It has the wow factor, hidden away in the perfect quiet location 7 minutes walk to the water. It doesn’t get any better than that.Australians in Türkiye are made to feel so welcome and this little gem was the icing on the cake⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  New Managers - you will not be disappointed

  As a solo female traveller, this accommodation is perfect. I felt safe all of the time and it is located so close to everything that walking (even at night) was not an issue. Previous reviews relate to old managers however the new managers Jen (an Aussie like myself) and her husband Tahir are amazing. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and nothing you ask is a problem. Because they too live in the area, they can recommend all the great restaurants, warn you about some tourist traps and can provide information on day trips. With Jen’s extensive tourism background she shares her knowledge and assistance if you want to travel further a field within Turkey. The hotel has recently been refurbished, there are various room sizes and would suit all travellers looking for comfort and excellent hospitality. I’m already planning my next trip!

  Best advice is DONT BOTHER !

  My daughter and I arrived late at night were showed our room ..my first words were don't unpack get to sleep we are out of here in the morning ..the following morning after little sleep as the only window was smaller than my bathroom at home infact my bathroom at home was bigger than the whole room .no aircon more than very tired a run down old fridge stood in the only spare floor space no wardrobe just 2 shelves two old mugs to drink from that have seen better days .We chanced breakfast and couldn't stop laughing dosnt need mentioning 🤣 we left with luggage handed key back and wasn't even asked if every thing was OK..the guy at reception just said OK...Lots of people we spoke to the rest of our holiday said this happens every day they walk in and straight back out..there are lots of stray lovely dogs around bodrum and I wouldn't allow them stay at the Kavala studios

  Stayed here for one week in August. The rooms are basic,,but you get what you pay for, a bit dated. Furniture could be doing with getting replaced and a fresh lick of paint would do it wonders. Very friendly staff and helpful. The bar is small but it makes this hotel worth staying at. The barman Chris is an excellent host, very good English and a total comedian! The place would not be the same without him.

  Before we went to bodrum, in particular kavala studios, we read a lot of the reviews and were getting mixed opinions. Some people saying it was rubbish, others loving it.I just have to say that those who hated must have went with very high expectations. This place is a 1 star hotel. The rooms were adequate, somewhere to sleep. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked brilliantly. Shower worked great. The room was very basic but was all that was needed. They were also cleaned near enough every day.There wasn't many people staying when we were there, that just added to the atmosphere I think. The pool was great and because not many people stayed at any one time there was maybe 2-5 people in it. It felt very private.The staff were amazing. Very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I hurt my foot the first day there so could barely walk for 2 days. The receptionist (Cody I do believe his name was) literally did everything he possibly could to stop me from having to walk around, bringing me breakfast drinks etc without even having to ask him. I wouldn't have got this service if I was in a larger hotel. He was fantastic.The bar is very small, big enough to get 4 stools in front of, but believe me it didn't lack in anything. The barman, Chris Demir is one of rhe nicest people we met, unbelievable. He was very funny and also looked after his customers. Anything you wanted he could sort it for you. He has people that go back to his bar year after year and is on first name terms with all of them. He broke his toe while we were there but still had a smile and still looked after his customers.He cooks English food for you if you request it at the bar, and will also order you takeaway if you want that too. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the stuff that comes with a 5 star hotel then this place isnt for you. But if you want some where friendly cheap and quiet then I would highly recommend it. There's not many rooms so doesn't get busy, which I think definitely adds to the charm of the place.People who have slated this place have definately gone with there eyes closed. Me and my husband will most definitely go again. Hope this helps people make a good decision and try it out for yourself
