Location

The resort is located on a private peninsula near the small village of Akyarlar, some 7 kilometres from Turgutreis and about 25 kilometres from the large, popular resort of Bodrum. Bodrum Airport is approximately 60 kilometres away.

Facility

This spacious property offers 9 villas/houses as well as 222 rooms, including 182 suites and 28 double rooms, which are located in a residential complex with a lifts (this complex is includes a 2-storey main building and 4 auxiliary buildings). The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms feature a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and central heating ensure comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For guests' convenience, units include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. Sport

The spacious pool area, which includes 2 outdoorpools, is a great place for guests to relax and take a refreshing dip. Even on cool days, swimming is always at option at the indoor pool. Kids can splash around in one of the 2 children's pools. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, bowling, yoga, callisthenics, aerobics and table football. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, a beauty salon, anti-ageing treatments, Ayurveda treatments and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet gives guests many delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. At lunch and dinner, there are plenty of tempting options at the buffet or à la carte. Dinner is also served as a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    First time visitors to this area. The hotel location is lovely and peaceful. We arrived early morning and were able to get a snack at the restaurant. Our room was amazing- large with a separate seating area and an enormous bathroom. The balcony was ok- would have benefited from some comfortable furniture. Food was great overall- the buffet always had a good selection of dishes. The Italian restaurant was ok but the Mexican was better. Wine was local and acceptable. The Rosebud bar was our favourite spot and staff were lovely. Sunbeds were low and uncomfortable with no cushions and as an older person it was difficult to get on and off! Grounds were stunning and well maintained. Housekeeping was mediocre- there were 2 dead insects in our toilet for the whole duration of our stay. There was only ever 1 glass in a room for 2 which was annoying. We had a relaxing stay and I would recommend this hotel. We visited Turgetris where there is a good shopping mall, marina and supermarkets.     Just come back from 2 weeks at this great hotel the staff are all friendly polite and nothing is too much trouble our room was clean and spacious with a great view food was good snd the à la carte restaurants are well worth a visit our favourite was the Mexican!     Outstanding Stay with Amazing Entertainment Team – Special Thanks to Fatma & Sait

    A big compliment to the entire entertainment team at the hotel, really to everyone involved, but especially to Fatma and Sait!Both of them are incredibly kind and warm-hearted people and put in a lot of effort every single day. They were always friendly, took time for the guests, and were very engaged in everything they did. Whether it was playing cards or joining other activities, they always created a great atmosphere and made sure everyone felt included. Even though they had long working days, they always kept a smile on their faces and truly did their best.The rest of the entertainment team was also fantastic and worked hard to make the stay enjoyable and entertaining.The hotel itself is very nice, and we especially liked the option to eat in different restaurants instead of only the main restaurant. This adds a lot of variety to the experience.The service overall was very good as well. It was mainly made up of young staff, which was actually really great to see. They were all very friendly and eager to help, and the service experience was overall very positive. However, it was also noticeable at times that many of them are still relatively new and could benefit from a bit more training and experience to become even more confident in their roles.All waiters were friendly and helpful at all times. Even when there were language barriers, communication always worked out somehow, and everyone tried their best to help.One small point for improvement would be the briefing/training at the bar. The staff were friendly, but it seemed like they could benefit from more training in making drinks. Additional training sessions could really help improve this area even further.Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great staff and a really pleasant atmosphere! I will definitely come back again!     We visited the Xanadu Island Hotel in early to mid-May.The hotel complex is located a bit off the beaten path on a beautiful peninsula with stunning panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding mountain scenery.The hotel itself is upscale and in excellent condition. The food was delicious overall, especially at the two themed restaurants.The fantastic acts during the evening shows deserve special mention, as does the incredibly friendly staff.We had the pleasure of meeting Sait, who accompanied us throughout our stay with great warmth, charisma, and energy.Overall, the hotel comes highly recommended.
