  Not So Deluxe As It Sounds

  Came here early May with my wife. We last stayed here 2019. Unfortunately this place is going downhill fast. Dated rooms, ceiling leaking around shower enclosure, loose toilet seat, no staff on reception, and when they finally turned up, they were all pushing prams around. Pool bar very noisy.Pool area was clean & tidy though.However we will not stay here again. A shame really, as the location is perfect.

  The rooms are a bit dated, but staff are really helpful especially,Gizzy and ibo they're amazing and always there to help and baby Aden Lina was such a joy to be around. The entertainment around the area is very similar from each bar but had a lovely time in stories bar as the set up is more of a modern feel restaurant

  Never a 4 star hotel more like a 2 stayed in many 4 star all over Turkey a lot lot nicer never have I stayed at a four star with carpet on the floor ,which I might add full on stains not hygienic at all ! The smell in the room was shocking 😮 told receptionist she told cleaner put bleach down toilet shower ,not much better ,hand rails if you touched them up to our room very unsafe ,rail pool edge has notice saying don’t use rail waiting to be fixed ? ,staff lovely ,music round pool bar very very loud from about 9am till gone midnight ,no one about from about 6 so why is music still so loud,restaurant served nice meals ,wouldn’t recommend wouldn’t return Halis Balcı, İşletme Sahibi at Han Deluxe Hotel & Suites, responded to this review Dear Guest,Your comments are exaggerated, misleading and do not reflect the standards of Han Deluxe Hotel & Suites. Carpeting is a design choice preferred by many guests and is cleaned daily using industrial equipment — it is not unhygienic as you claim. Any suggestion otherwise is completely false.The mention of “smells” or “unsafe railings” is equally inaccurate. All safety checks and maintenance procedures are carried out regularly and documented. Any issue reported by a guest is resolved immediately by our technical team.Regarding music, our pool area operates under specific time limits, and volume levels are monitored daily. The pool bar ambiance is part of the hotel’s character and has never been an issue for the majority of guests, as proven by hundreds of verified positive reviews.We appreciate that you found our staff and restaurant service pleasant, but the rest of your review contains false and misleading descriptions.   While this hotel is classed as a 4 star it may have been 10 yrs ago but everything needs updating, wallpaper coming off, dirty carpet. The beds are really hard and pillows really soft and possibly need replacing. Having said this the towels were immaculate. If it wasn’t for the fantastic staff this place would be on its knees as they are a real credit to the place. If you do book try not to get the rooms on the basement as we were flooded and the smell was not good. Regarding your remark about the beds, all mattresses in our hotel were completely renewed last year — it seems the firmness simply did not suit your personal preference.You mentioned being placed in a basement room; as clearly stated at the time of booking, this room category is located on the basement level and is offered at a lower rate. Choosing this more affordable option naturally means accepting the location and its conditions.During your stay, Fethiye experienced the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in its history, which affected not only our hotel but many properties across the area. While we obviously could not stop the rain, our management acted immediately — we upgraded you free of charge to one of our luxury rooms and provided assistance throughout. The flooding issues were primarily caused by lack of maintenance from the local municipality and electricity company, beyond our control.It is unfortunate that despite our team’s sincere efforts to assist you, you have chosen to direct blame toward management.
