    DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - DANGEROUS Ceilings falling in, floors lifting up, no electric, no water, Dangerous surroundings, nothing like images online, not a 5 star not even 1 star Appalling and cannot believe they are still able to take customers, we booked another hotel on day 1..... be warned they have also changed the hotel name to avoid reviews!! King Royal Hotel is this hotel. Never in my ;life have I been so duped total disappointment, needs tearing down and rebuilding, in fact it looks like they are half way there already....

    Stayed here in July, arrived early and was greeted by a teenager who spoke no English, checked in with Google translate pretty straight forward. Room very basic, air con did not work, was told “it was” when complained, (it blew out air but it did not blow out cold air like a air con unit is supposed to) the shower was broken on arrival, plugs sockets damaged, asked to change rooms was told hotel was full, it definitely wasn’t, they just couldn’t be bothered to help. Breakfast i was greeted by a tobacco stained man, mainly salad items for breakfast I asked where the toaster was, was told its being repaired, all week that toaster was being repaired. Hotel lunch basic and expensive for what it is, go buy your beers/drinks from the supermarket as hotel charge triple for the same beer! The view is the only redeeming factor for this hotel, the pool was ok. Their social media page is a complete catfish and does not resemble the hotel at all.

    On arrival at the hotel and once in our room we found.1) bathroom door broken, glass shattered), covered with some muslin fabric.2) air conditioning not working3) dangerous plug point below TV4) bathroom tap wouldn't turn off5) bathroom cabinet door wouldn't close, knocking on your knees when using basin.See all the images I have added to this review.We complained to the receptionist, who proceeded to tell us that hotel was full as Chinese holiday makers had come in so there was nothing he could do. If i had booked last minute i would understand but we booked this holiday way back in March 2024, so they had ample notice of our impending arrival. The hotel instead gave us a room which I am sure was not in use but due for repair to make it habitable again. The receptionist (Yasin) was the most unhelpful, surly and off handed person I have met in my many years of holidaying abroad he in fact went out of his was to be as unhelpful as possible. Even when we complained that the air conditioning was not working Yasin (receptionist) laughed at us as if we were stupid and said we had to shut our doors properly for it to work. When we said we had he just told us we obviously hadn't otherwise the aircon would be working. When we insisted he eventually came to our room to find in fact the aircon was not working!!We save up all year to go away on holiday and want to stay in a nice hotel, to unwind and we expect to be looked after as this is what we are paying for. It is not an extra we are looking for, these are just basic requirements for holidaying. I have used TUI on quite a few occasions, but after this I will neither book again, nor will I recommend TUI to any other friend or family for fear of them experiencing a similar fate and blaming me for recommending the Company.overall we were so disappointed as we had been looking forward to this holiday for a long time and to be treated like 2nd class customers with zero consideration of our holiday needs. I would stay as far away from this hotel as possible if this is the way they treat their customers, and TUI should vet the hotels they recommend much more thoroughly so customers are not subjected to sub standard accommodation for their holiday stays!!

    It wasn’t luxury but we didn’t pay a luxury price. Lovely swim up pool and very acceptable room. Meals were very nice.

    Beautiful location, easy to get down to the main front whilst being out of the way from all the busy streets. Very picturesque scenery. Breakfast could be improved a little, maybe some hash browns/potato options. Omelettes were amazing in the morning though. Couldn’t fault the staff- friendly, attentive and kind. Made an extra special effort to ensure me and my partner were comfortable and happy. Pool was absolutely gorgeous and very clean. Rooms were excellent, clean and modern with a beautiful balcony view. The telly in the rooms wasn’t great and maybe an update of channels or something would be good but not an issue at all. Dinner in the evening was really good, especially the grilled chicken. Lunch was so tasty and a reasonable price. Very close to Mount babadag cable cars. Overall an amazing stay, cannot wait to come back. Thank you to all the lovely staff ❤️❤️❤️
