  Basic hotel, no hot water, no internet in the rooms, loud music from next door pub, breakfast very poor, staff unfriendly.

  My friend and I, (2 females 50+ ) stayed in Marcan Beach hotel, our first visit to Oludeniz at beginning of Sept. Due to delayed flight we never arrived til early hours of morning, guy in reception was friendly and didn’t hang about and got us checked into our room which was ground floor. Location of room was perfect and although small it was clean and semi modern absolutely no complaints, I should add was also cleaned and tidied daily. Breakfast was really good for a 3* hotel, freshly made omelets made to order and plenty of fruit and other hits options in buffet style dining room, Solomon hotelManager (I think) was great, always appeared at breakfast and made everyone feel welcome. Pool bar was clean, cocktails were a hit or a miss I’m assuming as heading towards end of season not everything was in stock and if Solomon wasn’t on bar the other lovely young lad wasn’t always sure of how to make the cocktails but for us this wasn’t an issue. We did have lunch and snacks most days and drinks at the pool bar and I can say the food we had was delicious and freshly made to order, I think in total for 7 days our tab came to around £160 which for what we had we thought good value. We enjoyed spending days we weren’t out on trips at the poolside chatting with the other guests and enjoying a swim, we felt it a really friendly vibe. For us the week we were there the much anticipated Turkish night wasn’t on due to lack of interest, it have been nice to have had some kind of entertainment for one of the nights just to chill with other guests, however location is perfect and so many lovely bars and restaurants round about.There was issues with the water while we were there and was a few occasions where the hotel had no running water, which isn’t ideal for using the toilet or showering y etc, but it didn’t impact us to much as by time we came in from pool it been restored, top tip ( get in for that shower before the pool empties for warm water. Last day we weren’t getting picked up til late, felt the late checkout was a bit steep so we chose not to have late check out but we were able to stay around pool and plenty public loos which were clean and also a shower room where you could shower and change so this was good.. all in all great week and I’d definitely return to this hotel.

  Where do I start let’s just say no hot water for 5 days out of 7 sun beds are none existent as you can leave your towel on them the all time you are there so get your bed and towel on it and it’s yours full your full stay clean rooms friendly bar staff and cleaners. receptionist not as friendly not really much to do in the area very small would not go again or recommend maybe same area different hotel for 4 days maximum

  Cheap and Cheerful - Staff very friendly

  It's very true when they say you get what you pay for... rooms were basic and at certain times hot water was for showers was in short supply. If looking for something cheap, easy and cheerful this is the place! Breakfast was VERY basic and unless you like Omelettes, Toast, Salad or Fruit there wasn't much else to choose from (Don't expect a full English - however Cherry Bar on the doorstep do a decent one) HOWEVER - the location was superb and right on the strip, the pool was small but was a very friendly adult environment with music and very chilled and easy access to drinks, snacks and hot food. The hotel on the whole was clean and the BBQ that was laid on by Bar Manager (Solomon) was very nice! The Staff we very friendly (the older guy who doesn't sleep) on reception, Solomon the Bar manager was a great man as were all the bar staff. For the week we was there we couldn't complain t all really and with it being 32/33 degrees everyday we came back with very impressive tans for the end of September!

  First the positive points,The staff (especially Solomon), made this holiday. The location is brilliant, The beds were very comfortable and clean, the towels were clean and changed daily by a lovely lady called “Aishia”.Negative points,Advertised as Adults only, it wasn’t, there is a children’s section of the pool, a children’s drinks menu and children in the hotel? We stayed one week and never had any hot water for a shower, the Wi-Fi is not good and you certainly don’t have it in your room. The rooms are very dated, we had a couple of nights where we had a visitor (cockroach), the breakfast room is like a school canteen, and the food is basic and the same every day. There is a distinct lack of sun beds, with guests claiming them at 9:00pm with a towel for the next day?Nothing major! But definitely room for improvement.Wouldn’t deter anyone from going to this hotel but don’t accept the write up on the website as fact.
