Location

The hotel is ideally located close to Sultanahmet in the historical district of Istanbul. Kumkapi, by the Sea of Marmara, is a five-minute walk and offers a great choice of shops, restaurants and bars. There are links to the public transport network just 5 minutes' walk from the hotel, which will take guests to Taksim Square in the city centre in 30 minutes and to Beyoğlu and its nightlife in 40 minutes. Nearby places of interest include the Grand Bazaar (20 minutes' walk), Topkapi Palace (15 minutes), Hagia Sophia (8 minutes) and Blue Mosque (5 minutes). Istanbul-Atatürk Airport is approximately 18 km from the hotel and Sabiha Gökçen Airport is around 45 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 15 non-smoking rooms, including 3 single rooms and 10 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Ideal base for sightseeing in Sultanahmet!

    The poor reviews this place has received are unwarranted. It is an adorable little B&B in the heart of historic Sultanahmet. We were a very short walk from the little Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, etc. We booked a standard double room...it's small, but no smaller than your typical budget lodging in a high-demand European city. The bed and pillows were comfy, a/c works well, very quiet, with hot and cold water and good pressure. Staff (especially Abdul) very friendly, acommodating, and responsive (there was an issue with our showerhead and they fixed it straightaway). Free breakfast buffet is provided from 8a-10a that consists of bread, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and boiled eggs. A free coffee machine is available at breakfast as well...if that's not your jam, there are hosts of restaurants and cafes a stone's throw from the hotel. We found it to be perfect for sightseeing in Sultanahmet and liked it so much that we extended our stay.

    I'm writing a review for the Hamaam experience I had. It was clean and excellent. Nargis was the best massage therapist I've ever had! The whole experience was blissful. The scrub, foam, sauna and massage was amazing .

    Poor , no daily cleaning, no towels till we asked, breakfast poor and breakfast room was downstairs with poor lighting, no body soap, i booked a twin room (2beds) but i had a queen bed, no room phonrLocation is far from metro, i'll don't rebook

    I travelled with my sister and it was our first time in Istanbul. We stayed for 8/9 days. This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are small, bathroom not bad but the best thing about this hotel is the individuals who work there from the manager (cannot remember his name), Murat, Ali and Abdulrehman. These are the guys who make your stay home away from home. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar..... Many restaurants close by. For the price, we did not complain a bit. Breakfast is not that great but hey you can choose quite a few in that area to whatever your heart desires. Also not forgetting Fateh he made breakfast every morning very charming guy.We also had our covid test done at the hotel before our travel very convenient.
