    Nice Rooms, But Questionable Policies and Service

    We recently stayed at the MENA Plaza Hotel Albarsha and found the rooms to be spacious and very clean, which we appreciated. However, the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, often coming across as more rude than accommodating. Make sure you remember to switch on the hotel water in your room, or you will be having a very cold shower.We had hoped to do our laundry during our stay, as the form in the room clearly stated that items collected before 10 a.m. would be returned between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. as a regular service. However, when we dropped it off at the front desk, we were informed there would be a 100% additional charge. When we pointed out that this was not mentioned on the form, they claimed the policy had changed — despite the outdated forms. They also insisted on payment in cash, which felt suspicious.The hotel is in an okay location, but there are signs warning about "massage cards," suggesting that the neighborhood might not be the best. We did see some of these "massage cards" around, but that was the extent of it.As for dining, the food at the hotel restaurant was just okay — nothing memorable.Overall, while the facilities were clean and comfortable, the inconsistent policies, lack of clear communication, and unwelcoming staff made for a somewhat disappointing experience.     Hotel is really nice. Vishwa was really good. We had amazing stay there. Their amenities, room service was amazing. We have visited 3 times only Vishwa gave us really nice room as per our request. Their check in was really fast. Room view was also amazing with large window balkani.

    My experience at MENA Plaza Hotel Al Barsha was, and is, an absolutely incredible experience. I say “is” because I decided to stay with them a few months as I have been in and out of Dubai on business and have kept a room. The majority of my last 4 months of accommodation in Dubai has been at the MENA. Even before I decided to stay for an extended period, the professionalism, friendliness, and conscientious forward-thinking of the staff at MENA stood out to me. I have particular gratitude to Mr. Hassan, Rommel, and Remedie for their above and beyond attention to detail and consideration. I could name many more from Security, Housekeeping, and the Restaurant. I have not had a single negative experience, in months! The aMENities are great, and the location is within walking of the Mall of the Emirates and Metro. You should have a stay at the MENA Plaza Al Barsha, I might still be here!
