Spent the weekend here for a family wedding. The rooms were very clean comfortable and the view from our window was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wedding experience went without hitch and everyone had a fantastic time. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for any occosian.

    Golden wedding celebration

    rating10 May 2026

We held our golden wedding anniversary at this picturesque hotel in a lovely setting by the river Dee.The rooms are very well appointed and quiet, many with lovely views over the river. All aspects of service in the hotel were outstanding, the food and accommodation including the Priory room and Templar suite are of an exceptionally high standard.Staff were very kind and attentive the entire time, and in particular Jonathan ensured the event was superb - many thanks for looking after us!

    80th Birthday Party

    rating21 Apr 2026

I had my 80th birthday party at Maryculter House in April. The food and service were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone who was there thoroughly enjoyed them selves and it was a great evening.

    A hidden gem!

Peaceful location. Very relaxed and understated atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, well appointed and so comfortable. Good value for money with sensible restaurant prices, and a decent choice (although I missed my Guinness!).Very attentive and helpful staff. Will be back.

Easy to miss, but worth the trip.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant itself is cozy and the views out over the river are stunning. The food, although a little pricey, is brilliant - everything was cooked perfectly and plated well. The staff were professional and polite too.
