Location

This hotel is located very near the M4 motorway. The city and tourist centre of Cardiff, with its many pubs, restaurants, clubs, the bus station, the Museum of Life (St Fagans), and Cardiff Castle, lies only a 10-minute drive away. The railway station and the Castell Coch are about 15 minutes away, St Fagans Welsh Folk Museum is 20 minutes, and Swansea and the Brecon Beacons National Park lies approximately 50 minutes from the hotel. It is some 77 km to Bristol airport.

Facility

132 rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.     Rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for my quick overnight in Cardiff. Easy to get to and park (£10) for the night. Anisha and Binita on the breakfast team were great.

    Had my daughter’s 1st birthday party here a few days ago. Had a great experience last November with my other daughter’s party so decided to book again. we really enjoyed it, staff went above and beyond and helped me decorate the function room on how I wanted it, savita was really good. Sanjay helped me place the order for the food for the kids and was really accommodating.Lastly Sian was great whilst booking the room hire, she was accommodating friendly and was really easy and was happy to answer any questions I had over the room hire and needs.We ordered hot Food for the children and it was great and they bought the food up to the room at the time I wanted so was stress free.definitely recommend and going to book again in the future.

    I stayed at the hotel for New year's Eve and was told by one of the receptionist disabled people did NOT have to pay for parking, but to display my blue badge, which I did. The room wasn't cheap £130.I have now been sent a hefty fine for parking, they are insisting you need to pay, the hotel are ignoring my calls and emails. The parking fine nearly as much as the room.Extremely poor communication and care of disabled people.     Not to be recommended. Used to be a lovely hotel when it was called ‘The Inn on the Avenue’, however it seems to have been taken over by foreigners. What on earth has happened to such a lovely hotel. So sad. I was there on a memory trip but I’d rather not remember this one.
