    Dirty, filthy run down hotel. Save your money and book a premier inn. Absolute waste of money, staff don’t care they’re too busy on their phones.

    Novotel is a very comfortable place to stay comfortable beds and pillows. Well cleaned and supplied efficiently with beverages for the rooms. There is an excellent chef in residence who produces extremely good food every night whatever you choose from the menu. There is always more than enough to keep you well satisfied. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant staff are excellent, especially Eunice and Anthony. They have made our stay a great pleasure.

    They were very nice and friendly,had a good swimming pool but the childrens bed was a bit small for us but the thing we didn’t expext was a welcome to cardiff plate with cakes so thank you Novotel!

    Customer service 10/10… but the rooms? 😬

    I recently stayed at Novotel Cardiff Centre and came away with mixed feelings.The customer service was excellent — easily 10/10. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the check-in and overall stay smooth.The hotel also offers good facilities, including a swimming pool and jacuzzi, which are a nice addition. However, they were very busy during my visit, so it didn’t feel as relaxing as expected. The steam room was also barely warm, which was frustrating and needs attention.Unfortunately, the room itself was the biggest letdown. It felt dated and had an unpleasant smell not unbearable, but definitely noticeable. For me, the room is the most important part of any stay, especially when travelling with family, so this really impacted the overall experience.This hotel clearly has potential, but it needs to take more pride in its rooms and invest in updating them.Overall, while the service was great, I’d personally choose to pay a bit more next time for a better all-round experience, particularly for a family trip.
