    Lovely Hotel but issue with parking

    Stayed at the Glasgow Hotel a few times, great hotel, good location for Glasgow & SEC, nice rooms, I use the pool & gym, good breakfast and lovely staff. A sour point from my last stay, I always pay your parking space to park opposite, you can pay inside hotel, I was there for 3 days, paid as usual for parking. I rec'd a parking fine from a company called Parkmaven, fining me £100 for the period I paid for, I called hotel (they said, nothing to do with us) now I am appealing and wasting my time contacting Parkmaven & Your Parking Space sending them the receipt showing full payment for the period in question.

    Stayed over a weekend. Took the bus from airport, got off at first stop then it was a 5 minute walk. Very handy without being in a very noisy central area. About a 15 minute walk to Buchanan street. Met by very friendly receptionist and were allowed access to our room early as it was ready. All areas of hotel were very clean. All staff were friendly. Pool area is nice for a bit of relaxation, although the towels they give you are tiny and a bit 'thread bare'. Robes and slippers should come as standard for guests. Others had them so assume they are available on request? We were not told this. We opted to have dinner in hotel on our first night. Main course salmon was tasty but I had to order a side with it as although the salmon itself was a good size, the potato cake and portion of broccoli with it were ridiculously small. Disappointed given that it wasn't cheap. Breakfast was OK. Nice sausages and bacon. Fried eggs were rubbery sitting under the heat lamps. Perhaps requesting poached would have been a better option. I would return again as I liked the location and the cleanliness, but I wouldn't bother with breakfast or dinner.

    My 5-Star rating is primarily influenced by the exceptional customer service offered by the hotel's reception staff - specifically Scott L. His enthusiasm and desire to help went above and beyond as he personally sourced birthday cake candles (and a lighter!) late in the evening ready for my morning check-out. Big thank you!

    Stayed here our first night on our trip to Scotland. Convenient drive from the airport to the hotel. Parking is available but is not attached to the hotel, you have to book it through the little kiosk however it’s very reasonable. I think we paid 12 pound for overnight parking. One really nice thing about the hotel. They have an attached spa so there is a heat at pool and heat it hot tub that you can use as part of your Stay. The rooms have air-conditioning, they are quite large, lovely bathroom and also nice beds and view.

    Friendly, welcoming hotel, staff were helpful and approachable, our rooms were upgraded for free, rooms were spotlessly clean, air con worked well. The location is handy for town and nightlife etc, about 20 minute walk away. Would return here.
