    I have stayed in many hotels all over the world being cabin crew and without a doubt this guesthouse is up there at the top. The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly, I would highly recommend as you will not be disappointed. Beds are very comfy and I will be back in the future. Great work John and thanks for an amazing stay! 10 stars all round. Thanks Scott.

    I would like to say we had a lovely stay at the heard guest house .The accommodation was lovely and comfy bed as well as a full cooked breakfast from owner Scott who was very welcoming . We will definitely be recommending this to all our family and friends as we found this great value for money and such a relaxing time there with in a rural setting. A big thank you to the heardhill guest house .

    Very welcoming, Scott was a great host, rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice. Friendly family run hotel. Would recommend.

    I was here for over 3 weeks, my flat was flooded in January and while the work was carried out I stayed here. I was warmly welcomed by Scott, the owner, my room was great with a lovely view and very comfortable. I had full use of the microwave and was able to help myself to milk etc. This place was definitely a home from home for me. Breakfast was delicious, whether I had a full breakfast or poached eggs, was great. I would definitely give Herdshill B&B 5 stars, more of I could as I felt so very much at home. Hospitality was absolutely brilliant, whether for 2 or 3 nights or 2 or 3 weeks, this place cannot be faulted.

    We stayed here for 5 nights visiting friends in the area. Scott is an excellent host, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is very good with the full Scottish breakfast always hot and fresh. Scott also offers cereal, yoghurts, and tinned fruit. Just a couple of small details that prevent me from giving Herdshill 5 stars. The bed was a little soft for my particular preference. There is a distinct lack of hooks on which to hang coats, etc, and I could have used a bedside table. There is one electric car charger available for those with an electric vehicle.
