Location

The hotel is located in the trendy quarter of West End, only 10 minutes from Glasgow University and the bustling Byres Road. Due to its location, the M8 motorway can be easily reached, as well as main city.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 137 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions.     Amazing staff but tired decor

    The staff are absolutely the highlight of this hotel.George, Scott and Charlie in particular were very helpful and made our stay. Excellent humour and so helpful with suggestions of places to eat pre theatre and booking taxis.Great having a carpark so close to Glasgow city centre (which is challenging to park in!)Lovely walks nearby and a pond just behind the hotel that was so peaceful.The room was clean and beds comfortable but the hotel is rather in need of an upgrade and lets everything else down.Not terrible but definitely required! The shower in particular needs replacing.Wouldn't put me off staying again though and I genuinely can't thank the hotel staff enough.     Zero Star Room With A Four Star Price Tag

    Light fittings were hanging from the wall, wallpaper was torn, the walls were damaged with chunks missing from the plaster, paint was peeling in the bathroom, the bathroom was filthy, cobwebs hung from the ceiling, the bathroom sink tap dripped constantly, the toilet flushed only intermittently.The doorframe was badly damaged around the lock. I suspect the lock has recently been forced and replaced (badly) but results in the door not closing well and occasionally catching so it doesn’t open well either (as well as adding to the general feeling of neglect).Finally, the smoke detector had been removed, which I suspect violated all sorts of laws!Breakfast was nice though... martin muir, Guest Services / Front Office at Leonardo Inn Hotel Glasgow West End, responded to this review Dear Paul C,Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent stay with us.     The hotel was ok, beds comfy. My issue is the pricing as there are migrants living there which wasn’t disclosed to me as a guest. They were all over the hallway, talking loudly until late at night. Felt uncomfortable and intimidated as it was all young men. Free breakfast for them where it costs £20 for guests.     Lovely stay. Walking distance to the station. Great staff and comfortable, clean room. Comfy bed. Would stsy agsin as reasonably priced and well worth the money. Parking available.     I have never left reviews , for i am one that , just doesn't return , but i just could not ignore nor not voice my experience of the establishment. Due to being Mothers day weekend it was hard to find a "twin" room in Glasgow , then this hotel appeared on Booking.com. I was aware it was a 3 star and only cost £120.00 for room only (which was what suited me), but sadly did not do my homework and read the reviews. Don't want to go on with offensive wording for the photos will explain my disappointment and shock. Staff were kind enough , but this hotel should not be renting out rooms. After lots of emails and phone calls i got a full refund , considering i stayed dressed and sat up until sunset.
