This hotel is located just off the A4 (Great West Road) which links it to central London (approximately 30 minutes by car). Hounslow central underground station is a 2-minute walk from the hotel and will take guests to Heathrow or central London on the Piccadilly line. The centre of Hounslow is 200 m away and its is just 5 km from Heathrow Airport. Legoland and Windsor are both 15 km away.

Facility

67 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee.     Racist staff, worst hotel, DO NOT ATTEND!

    I recently stayed at intercontinental hotel for Valentine and it was the worst experience. The staff “Atilla” had asked me “if I had money on my card” when paying the deposit, for no reason except for the colour of my skin. I found that highly insulting, because if I was a white male, I would not of been treated in that disgusting manner. After this incident, someone had called my telephone in the room, and wanted to apologise for what happened during check in, by asking me to come down for dinner reservations. In response to this I was delighted to know that the hotel had recognised their racist behaviour and wanted to make amends. I then went back down to the reception to ask where the dinner was as someone had called my room. I was then greeted by David the manager at the time, and he aggressively stated that no one had called the room, and that I was lying, about anyone making dinner reservations. I then got extremely upset and asked him to check the call log history. After he had found out that someone did call my room, he didn’t even apologise for the way he spoke to me, or for calling me a liar, he proceeded to say “the dinner reservations is not complimentary, and that I would have to pay” again another indirect dig, to imply I wouldn’t be able to afford it. So not only am I questioned about having money in my card but also the manager putting emphasis on the fact that something isn’t free. Which I was completely astonished by the despicable behaviour from a hotel as known as intercontinental. This hotel will be one I would not recommend to ethnic minorities, because they treat you like you didn’t pay or can’t afford to be there. When I have every right as any other customer. Worst experience!

    Admittedly i stayed here with some trepidation as c.50% of the reviews were seemingly awful along with the nightmare photos, however while the interior is very old, tired and badly in need of a refurb, for the price it was excellent. There is also a huge selection of restaurants a stones throw away. The night manager was very friendly and helpful, my room was clean, the heating was just right, and the water pressure in the shower seemed to want to blast me through the wall which was most welcome. Breakfast was a simple affair of cornflakes, jam on toast and tea or coffee. I wouldn't bring a significant other for a 'romantic' getaway, but for a traveler on business or a short stay its ideal.

    The continental hotel is just around the corner of paddington station we stayed there for 2 nights, we were flying to USA. Our room was clean, tidy with clean linen and comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions, we will come back.

    12 of us stayed at this hotel in four rooms for four nights. We were spread over the hotel, all rooms were on the first floor and we got a free upgrade in all the rooms to have a shower room inside which was a nice touch. Breakfast was basic but included and the staff knew a few places to go for lunch and have a drink.Will defo come back again as a group or with the mrs.

    As a family of 4 members who stayed for a couple of days, we are happy with the location, cleanness, nice stuff and good breakfast. It is not a luxury hotel but very good for the price and the location.
