    Mouldy damp cold and snow inside the restaurant

    I have stayed at a lot of Malmaison hotels over the years and they have all been great. This one unfortunately the restaurant wasFreezing and the doors was all open snow was coming in we couldn’t eat out food it was that Cold we was shivering. Why they have evey door open is madness.     Amazing hotel!

    From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing! They upgraded my room so we could check in early as we were going to be out at a gig till late. The room was lovely! Quirky, with lots of space & large comfy bed. Unfortunately my day took a bad turn & had a fall & had a head injury. I ended up in A & E all night! I called the hotel & explained & they agreed to let me stay until 3 the next day, so we could get some sleep. Was very grateful! What a lovely gesture, thankyou to all your wonderful staff!     I upgraded to a corner suite from a standard room and regretted it as soon as I entered the room, the window situation is ridiculous you need to be either a giant or dwarf to see out of the windows, I had to work out how to plug in the aerial on the tv to get a signal and the shower cubicle is like a vertical coffin.     Stayed one night for a concert. Myself and daughter. Beautiful hotel. Few minutes walk from train station and close to shopping Reception, bar staff and cleaners super friendly. Rooms nice but a little bit dated. Good amenitiesAmazing breakfast with vegetarian choices.
