    Beautiful friendly hotel. Very big rooms and clean. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely come back here.

    Booked this hotel for a couple of nights to explore Southampton. Never stopped here before, so this is what I found. Did not need the parking but there is plenty. Opted for this hotel which is a short walk to the City Centre but is on a bus route for those less able to walk. First impressions was how helpful the manager was and very knowledgeable about the area, giving us plenty of recommendations. We were given a room in the annexe next door. It has been freshly decorated as there was still a faint paint smell in the hallway. It looked immaculate. There is no lift . Our room was on the top floor but only a flight of stairs, which may be an issue for some but not us. Room was nicely decorated, big bathroom with shower over the bath. Comfortable bed , good hospitality tray and nothing else really needed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Did not have any meals here, as had nights out planned but restaurant looked good. We were able to leave our bags on checkout day as not leaving till mid afternoon. Friends of ours said this has been a hotel in Southampton for as long as they can remember. I’m not surprised as it was all you need, and a very competitive price. If going on a cruise you can opt to pay for parking which is an excellent addition. I would definitely stop here if I return to this area mainly for the staff, location and the cleanliness of the hotel.     Very conveniently situated for the Cruise Terminal, and superb setup. Very efficient service, well-organised and friendly team. Lovely meal in the restaurant the evening before we sailed, and a great car parking arrangement. Nice quiet, clean room. Good value for money IMO. We'll be staying there again.     Excellent hotel perfect for the cruise terminals.

    My wife and I stayed for one night (7th May 2026) pre cruise the next day.This Hotel is so convenient for the Southampton cruise terminals.For a very reasonable price we parked our car onsite for the duration of our cruise.Our en-suite room was large with a kingsize bed. Great space for relaxing in.The bathroom was also spacious.The menu for the evening meal was excellent with various items available including meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.For breakfast,we had the continental, but a hot breakfast was also available.The staff were all very helpful.Jamie, the manager, arranged a taxi to take us to the cruise terminal.All in all a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
