    Disgusting dirty - not worth the cheap price

    I've unfortunately stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and it has never gotten better. Just worse. I know anyone can write a bad review which is why o made sure to take pictures this time so you can see for yourself. And this just captures the things that can be seen. So here are all the issues we captured this time:- [ ] Hot and cold on shower reversed- [ ] Luke warm water with short bursts of hot- [ ] No AC but a dusty box fan- [ ] Uncomfortable beds that left me with back aches- [ ] 1/2 sized pillows that are flat- [ ] Sockets so loose your chargers fall out- [ ] Bathroom vanity had 1 soft white bulb, 1 cold white bulb and 1 burnt out bulb- [ ] Kitchen had a burnt out bulb- [ ] Tv signal had grainy channels like from an antenna- [ ] Curtains that barely covered the window- [ ] Dirty oven- [ ] Thin, hard towels- [ ] Hammering on our wall next door at 9:45am- [ ] Fan in bathroom doesn't workThe problem with hotels in Ocean Shores is that there aren't many and they KNOW people will pay whatever is charged because there's no other options. And the hotels don't have to really keep up on repairs. Supply and demand. But places like this one are disgusting and a health hazard. I want to be clear, this wasn't the only time we've stayed here. We've stayed multiple times and it's always disgusting. We won't be staying here ever again.

    Call first. There are deals for phone call reservations only. Once I inquired I was told I was an online reservation and that I was unable to get the same rate.

    We debated whether to stay here because of some not so nice reviews. However it ended up perfect for us. We needed a place large enough for me, my friend, and her two teenagers so wanted a place with separate rooms. All hotels in the area were over $300 for just one room. We ended up getting a three floor, two bedrooms, one large main room with two beds, and a kitchenette/living room space for around $270 - perfect for us.Yes, the place is older, darkened grout in bathtub, etc... but we found it to be very clean. The lock didn't appear to be lock properly but we tried and it was very secure. Also slight draft around the door so may be chilly in the winter. However beds were extremely comfortable and place very spacious. We loved having a kitchen to cook our meals. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Pools (indoor and out) were clean and a comfortable temperature. All in all, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price, this is the place..

    Negatives : DIRTY - RUN DOWN The photos on this website do not look the way it actually looks when you arrive ! No elevatorI don’t think pool is ever cleaned felt like a place you’d go for a drug deal or a hookup on Las Vegas blvd. Need some major improvement'sPositives : cute cat in front office Comfy mattressMy family and I made the most of it but will not be going back.
