    I recently visited Atlanta on business and was traveling with my dog. I was seated outside by a server and waited for 20 minutes without even so much as a drink order. I was sick and did not want to leave the hotel but eventually I did because of the poor service. The hotel is beautiful and if you play golf there is a nice course next to hotel. I was planning to return there for a week in June but I have now changed my plans.

    Beware of Automated Smoke Detector

    Absolutely unbelievable experience. We were falsely charged a smoking/vaping fee based on an “air quality sensor” despite nobody smoking or vaping in the room at any point during the stay.The hotel provided a generic automated report with zero real evidence — no staff witness, no odor complaint, no physical proof, nothing. Just a computer-generated accusation and an instant charge. Even more suspicious? There was allegedly ONE isolated “event” during multiple days of occupancy, yet somehow that was enough for them to decide we violated policy.If these sensors are so accurate, why were there no repeated alerts? No housekeeping complaints? No follow-up issues? Because we didn’t smoke.It honestly feels like a revenue stream disguised as “policy enforcement.” Guests should be extremely cautious because apparently an algorithm can now decide you owe hundreds of dollars with no actual proof required.We respected the property, followed the rules, and still ended up dealing with this mess after checkout. Customer service showed little interest in hearing our side and simply pointed back to the automated system as if technology is incapable of mistakes.Very disappointing experience and a terrible way to treat paying guests. There are too many hotels out there to stay somewhere that assumes guilt first and asks questions later.

    Everything was well organized and went off without any glitches. Staff was extremely pleasant and a sheer delight to work with for our statewide conference!! Our best regards to the chef, the food was amazing! Venecia F., banquet captain was always pleasant, kept me informed and she and her staff were awesome to work with!
