    Horrid would be an upgrade

    rating27 Apr 2026

I wanted to give this place no stars but I didn’t get the option. This place was a nightmare. The outside looked NOTHING like the website and the inside wasn’t any better. The night manager who let me in looked like hell. He didn’t know where anything was. He went looking everywhere for the card keys then seemed confused as the best way to get to my room. The smell of some type of cleaning solution was so bad - I had to open up the windows. I had to turn the a/c up high to balance out the noise coming from the parking lot. The microwave was yellowed on the outside and worse on the inside. There was no silverware or dishes - which was probably just as well. Even the garbage cans, phone, and alarm clock was missing. The bathtub was all scratched up and the surface was a disaster. There was no table with a chair. It was as if everything that wasn’t nailed down had been stolen. I was surprised the TV was still there. There was a grill outside in the parking area on the sidewalk with a bag of garbage in the parking spot next to the sidewalk. Which may have explained the ruckus.I was staying there as my wife was in the hospital having emergency surgery and driving back home nearly 40 minutes away was untenable. I should have driven both ways. I checked in at midnight and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning. There was no breakfast set-up - which was just as well. The only positive thing was the day assistant manager when I told I was not staying both nights. She immediately gave me a refund for the second night before I could ask. I hope she gets a job somewhere respectable where her customer service is recognized. I have stayed in multiple Extended Stays in different states. I don’t know what this place was - but if I was Extended Stay America - I would find out how this place stole their identity. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America - Boston - Burlington, responded to this review Dear Guest, We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and the impression it left. It’s disappointing to know your stay did not reflect the level of comfort and quality we aim to provide. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, as we are committed to enhancing our services on all levels.Sincerely,Hotel Management

    Disgusting!

    rating23 Apr 2025

There was a used condom stuck to the ceiling above the bed. This is the most disgusting thing we've ever seen in a hotel. There was also a used washcloth thrown over the shower rod. It made me question whether or not the sheets had been changed. We will never stay here again. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America - Boston - Burlington, responded to this review Dear debc754, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave your comments. Please accept our apologies if your room was not spotless. Our housekeeping staff works hard; therefore, we regret not catching the concerns you described. We have shared your remarks and will use them as an opportunity to improve our guest experience. Considering this a rare incident, we hope you will revisit the next time you are in the area to show you our commitment to exceptional hospitality. Sincerely,Hotel Management

    Not horrible, but nothing glamorous

    rating04 Apr 2025

I had an issue with a nearby extended stay America that had lost my reservation, then refused to give me the original price I had paid for. This place helped me out of a tight spot, but admittedly it wasn’t phenomenal. We got checked inn and found the floor of our room was pretty dirty. Looked like someone swept it up and then tried sweeping it under the beds and counters rather than picking it up. For what it is, the breakfast isn’t bad. The muffins they have up there are actually great. Staff was 50/50. There was one woman who was lovely to talk to and very eager to help us, while there was another gentleman who flat out looked angry if you spoke to him. I had to ask for a late checkout from him and he he said they didn’t offer one, but then my work partner went up and asked someone else and they said they did offer it and they could do it. It’s worth noting that my stay coincided with a Boston hotel-workers strike, so it may be worth taking my experience with a grain of salt. ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America - Boston - Burlington, responded to this review Dear Cameron S, Thank you for taking the time to share about your stay. We care about the satisfaction of our guests; therefore, we appreciate you letting us know what we can do to make your next stay perfect. Worst place Ive ever stayed at

    rating07 Mar 2025

Worst place Ive ever been to, so dirty, staff ignorant, hyperdermic needles in the parking lot, unbelievable nasty smells in the hallway, 24 hours noises from screaming kids everywhere in the place. Towels filthy with stains all over them. I could go on and on. Bottom line is this place should be closed down, police there every other hour for something. People sleeping in stairwells. Just unbelievable ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America - Boston - Burlington, responded to this review Dear ronaldpY6462AZ,We are genuinely sorry to hear about your experience during your stay. We understand your frustrations regarding the noise disturbance, cleanliness, and the level of service you received from our staff. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we take your concerns seriously. Please rest assured that we will address these issues with our team to improve the guest experience. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We would like the opportunity to serve you better in the future and hope you will consider a return visit.Sincerely,Hotel Management
