    Let's start with the rude 'greeting' by the front desk person, Tony. It was clear he was overwhelmed with requests from customers calling the front desk, people checking in, and difficulty with the computer. Then, he admits that he was working alone because someone didn't show up for their shift. I am sorry to hear that, AND...that does not give you the right or privilege to treat people unkindly. I witnessed this clerk hang up on calls twice. I witnessed this clerk raise his voice on the phone. I witnessed this clerk sigh heavily and loudly. When he could not locate my reservation, he indicated that it was my fault. I gave him a confirmation number, and when he said that was through a third party, that was all he said. He did not ask if it was under a different name, or if there was another number. While I felt bad for him, it does not excuse his unprofessional or unkind behavior. After shrugging his shoulders and saying he could do nothing, I asked if there was a room available. He said yes, and that I would have to pay full price for it, which I eventually did. However, now I have to contact my credit card to get my points refunded since that is how the reservation was purchased. Honestly, it was a nightmare. It was already stressful enough trying to figure out how to get to the airport, return a rental car, and check in for our flight very early the next morning. The room itself was satisfactory, clean, and met our limited needs. The breakfast in the morning was subpar at best.

    Convenient and functional hotel near Logan

    The hotel is well managed and the staff is well trained. The desk clerk actually read my reservation request and changed our preassigned room to a quieter one. However, the hotel is located in a surprisingly high-traffic area and you cannot escape the airport noise. The courtesy airport shuttle was very convenient. Breakfast was quite adequate.

    Budget hotel. But not budget service. Everyone at this hotel is so friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was absolutely spot on for a budget hotel - and coffee was available for free all day and night! Everywhere seems very clean, and the area around seems safe. Shuttles were awesome, and it’s situated really well for the awesome public transport in Boston. If I return to Boston - it may well be to the same hotel!

    The worst hotel stay I have ever had

    I would give zero stars if I could. After an army of unsupervised teenagers woke up our baby repeatedly all night running through the halls and screaming, we found at checkout that the hotel charged us a $300 smoking fee, claiming a sensor went off in the room while we were in the shower. We don't smoke, my partner is asthmatic and we were with our newborn baby. The woman at the desk told us it was automatic and they would not do anything about it, and that we could dispute the charge with our bank. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

    Wonderful Hospitality After a Long Journey

    After a 24-hour trip, we called the Hampton in Chelsea for a pickup and Chadia arrived quickly and helped us with our suitcases so appreciated after such a long journey. When we arrived, Shantel at the front desk greeted us warmly and truly showed what great hospitality is.Thank you both for being so kind to two very tired travelers. The hotel is lovely and exactly what I expect from a Hampton especially the comfortable beds and pillows. A perfect place to land after a long trip.
