  Great hotel for safety and convenience for touring

  Clean in all areas and located close to most all attractions. Very walkable. They have a garage for parking for a fee. Standard breakfast. Hot food and service was prompt on keeping food choices full and area clean. Third floor area has breakfast area. Secure for safety. Room card needed to scan to get to your floor. I would stay again.

  I don't understand why other reviews are discussing the parking fees, it is listed as you drive up and costs $30 per day spent there. The parking is only valet and it is enclosed at night which is very nice and safe. The employees working were awesome and fast. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are very nice and quiet. We never heard anyone in the hallway. The location was the best part, very convenient to all locations.

  This is a WONDERFUL hotel! I really enjoyed my 7 days here. I especially appreciated the front desk clerk on the day I arrived who allowed me to check in early. I had just arrived in Boston on a red-eye flight from the west coast and was really tired. A big thank-you to that young lady for her kindness!This is an unusually quiet hotel. I am very sensitive to noise, so the silence was a big plus -- no noisy hallways, whirring machinery, or guest conversations drifting through the walls! The hotel is located within easy walking distance to most of the tourist sites and shopping on Essex and Derby Streets. Another plus is that it is located almost directly across from Steve's Quality Market, if you cross Washington Street and its adjacent wide parking lot. This market has a good selection of basic groceries as well as sandwiches and other take-out items, in case you aren't in the mood for eating in a restaurant. But there are loads of restaurants nearby too.

  30$ hidden parking fee

  Hotel was very near downtown Salem, every restaurant and activities were within a 10min walk. The rooms were clean and staff very active for room service. We went mid-May and unfortunately the pool water was cloudy, my daughter was pretty disappointed as it was our plan to use the pool during downtime. As for the blow drying in our room, a mix of mold and lint, it's not something that is regularly cleaned so I recommend to bring your own.There's a hidden parking fee - not included in the payment. Should you want to use the hotel indoor parking it's 30$ PER DAY. You arrive at the counter to check in and they ask for a 100$ safety deposit, the 30$ will be deducted from your safety deposit. Since we spent 2 night, we had 60$ deducted from our deposit and should only receive 40$ back.
