    Everyone did an awesome job, the front desk staff in particular

    I stayed at this hotel out of necessity and it was a pleasant surprise capped off by the excellent service rendered by everyone. Basically, the air conditioning in our apartment in the area went out during a heatwave. Temperatures outside were 90 deg F + and inside our apartment was reaching as high as 87 deg F. This was bad enough for me as a human being but even worse for our dog. After speaking with my wife who was out of town at the time, we opted to check into the hotel.On arrival, one of the hotel managers, Jonathan, was informative, courteous, and efficient. He let me know about the amenities, charges, restaurants, etc all while expressing empathy for the challenges that we were facing. When I had questions later, Joani, one of the other front desk staff, was just as knowledgeable, courteous, etc.The rooms were clean and well-appointed. Everything worked as it should (e.g TV, etc). And given that the AC worked great, our dog really perked up as soon as he was in the cooler environment.Overall, the hotel was DEFINITELY worth the price of the rooms (again, in a good way), the staff was fantastic, and we had a great stay even though it was just one night. Again, my thanks to Jonathan, Joani, and the rest of the staff for an awesome stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

    We stayed at the studio Allston for a mother daughter trip, and loved it. The rooms were great, the vibe is fresh, fun - and the concierge had everything we could hope for, including a list of recommendations for gluten free restaurants! Kudos to Joani for putting together a great list - we tried four different restaurants during our visit, and each was good.

    This location is absolutely ideal for staying super close to downtown Boston and also so convenient for a show at the Roadrunner. Great neighborhood with cool restaurants, venues and shops to enjoy. The hotel itself has an artsy, light and friendly atmosphere! Incredibly clean, informative and kind staff, and so reasonably priced. The beds are comfy, the room was surprisingly quiet and the breakfast and coffee were delicious! This is my new favorite boutique hotel!     Great location, not right in the city so affordable and a short uber drive away. A bit dated but fun. Great stuff, plenty of parking, comfortable beds.     Fun week at Studio Allston

    This is my second stay at this fun hotel. Although I live locally, my condo was undergoing a renovation and I needed to stay nearby. This lovely hotel fit the bill completely. My room was squeaky clean, comfortable and quiet. There is easy parking at a very reasonable price for Boston hotels. Although the hotel was quite booked for graduation weekends while I was there, the offerings in the continental breakfast were refilled promptly. There is a large deck just outside the restaurant and in summer weather it is a lovely way to start the day sitting on the deck with coffee and a breakfast offering. I tried the restaurant one night and so enjoyed the slider combo that I went back a second night to order it again! On our first visit we enjoyed the beer and wine taps too. The art murals in every room make you want to peek into every open door to check out the scene. Even though we are local, we hope to come back for another "staycation". The hotel is conveniently located for access to downtown Boston, Cambridge or Watertown.
