This elegant hotel is situated by the Faneuil Hall marketplace and is only a short walk from Boston's scenic waterfront, numerous other attractions, and the theatre. Cambridge lies about 7 km from the hotel.

201 rooms and 9 suites are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well.     For the amount of money you pay, this hotel is awful. Here is why. This hotel could only provide decaf coffee in the rooms and if you wanted regular coffee, you had to pay for it just outside the elevators on the ground floor. When I called the desk to ask they bring me a couple packets of regular coffee, I was told it would be delivered to my room but after over an hour I went down to the desk and they told me who ever ordered the coffee did not order regular coffee and they dont have it. It would have been easy to have just called my room back and told me but when i went to the desk, there was only 1 staff member and she was talking to a freind on a personal call. The television then shut off automatically after being on for 10 minutes and we called the fron desk, they did send a guy up to our room and he told us there was nothing he could do as maintenance staff moved the antennae and it could not be fixed on this night. the luggage stand we put our suitcase on was wobbly and was unsafe, we called the desk and they said they would bring a new one up, it did not arrive after about 2 hours. This was all within the first night there. Another hotel guest came to the front desk and also voiced her complaints to the staff earlier that evening. The other guests were unhappy. The staff here seems rather uptight and not freindly, it seems they are not happy working there at all. The in house restaurant at the hotel is 26 North and the man who works the bar there is named Sayeed. Of all the staff who works there or is affiliated with the hotel, he seems like the only person there who knows customer service and has a solid work ethic. The Bostonian Hotel should make him the top manager at the hotel. Sayeed got me a cup of regular coffee which was nice because the Bostonian cant even put 10 cent packges of regular coffee in your room and yet they charge a steep price based on their location. Do yourself a favor, just try to book the Canopy Hotel around the corner. it's about the same price and the staff at the Canopy appear to enjoy their jobs and make it worth the price.

    The Bostonian Hotel is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Boston, whether for work or a personal trip. The location is excellent, the rooms are always clean, and most importantly, the staff consistently greets guests with genuine warmth and a smile.During my most recent stay, a hotel manager named Alexandre handled my check-in. He was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations on places to eat and things to see around the city. He made my stay even more enjoyable than previous visits! I thought I know Boston well! What impressed me most was that when I checked out, Alexandre politely asked about my experience and genuinely wanted to know if there was anything the hotel could do better. That level of care and attention is rare these days and speaks volumes about his professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction.We need more hotel managers like Alexandre.     Very dated hotel. Carpet stains everywhere. Noisy. Only one elevator working and no one working on getting other fixed. Heavy dust in room on back of the door. Staff needs to smile. Seem very unhappy. Would struggle to give this 3 star hotel 2 stars!Bellmen were wonderful. Very helpful and friendly.
