    Bringing a team to a Chicago Tournament? Find a More Team Friendly Option!

    Our hockey team (and a number of other teams) stayed at this resort for a recent tournament, that was Saturday-Monday. I would think that the resort would make certain accomodations knowing that they would have a large influx of youth athletes as guests at the hotel.After a late night game, arriving back at the hotel after 10:30pm, a number of our players grabbed takeout food to bring back to the hotel and eat before going to bed. The front desk staff told them that "no outside food was allowed". Keep in mind, the hotel restaurant was not serving food at this time, and there were no other "shared spaces" in the resort where the boys could sit together. Sunday afternoon the boys had 3-4 hours of free time between games, and went over to the Pool/Bowling Alley to hang out, only to find out that these amenities were closed at 1pm. Once again, limiting options for the players and team to hang out together, which is probably one of the primary benefits of traveling out of state for an event.Lastly, something at the hotel needs to be done with the heating and cooling system. Our room was probably close to 80 degrees when we arrived - we turned off the heat, and opened the windows (admittedly unseasonably warm for the 2nd week of February) - but even with our windows open from Saturday at 3pm through Monday morning at 8AM, our room still probably never got below 68 degrees.The hotel was clean, the price was reasonable - however I think they could certainly be more accomodating when multiple teams or groups are guests at the resort to try and enable groups a space and opportunity to socialize.     Peaceful Oasis in Chicagoland

    We stayed here two nights while visiting family. We enjoyed the pool, sauna and hot tub and had a quiet, peaceful rest in a room on the top floor of the south tower. Hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly from arrival to departure, and helpful as well. This was our second stay here and we will likely return again.     Sisters Staycation

    Great resort for business conferences!

    What s pleasant surprise! The Eaglewood resort was an excellent venue to attend a work conference. The property is older, but is well-maintained, has comfortable rooms with basic amenities and multiple conference room options with indoor and outdoor break areas overlooking the golf course. The hotel features a bar and large lobby area for welcoming groups and gathering and there are plenty of convenient restrooms throughout the property. In addition to an 18 hole golf course, there is a glow in the dark putting area, perfect for a fun evening activity.The food was absolutely delicious for every meal during our 5 day stay,The property is located reasonably close to O’Hare and is easily accessible from the expressway. I would definitely recommend the Eaglewood Resort for large group events.
