  Extremely unprofessional staff.Although booking was done quite a long time ago, it wasn't until we arrived in Dallas that they sent us a message that they were canceling our reservation due to unforeseen circumstances and that they had made a reservation at another hotel - without any information about that hotel. Also, the hotel they booked us at had pretty bad reviews.Never had similar experience.They obviously made overbooking but then should have informed us on time so that we can choose the other hotel.

  The hotel itself is reasonably comfortable, with modern, clean rooms. However, a major downside is the deafening noise of planes taking off at all hours, making it very difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night; at 4 a.m., everyone was out on the street with about ten fire trucks and firefighters everywhere—a terrible experience. After the alarm—which originated on our very floor—was over, they didn't even move us to a different room, leaving us with dirt and the smell of smoke everywhere; there was no breakfast the next morning, either. At checkout, they didn't want to refund us for the night, and we had to insist. Terrible! Avoid like the plague!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+Although this review is long overdue, I could not let more time pass without recognizing the incredible experience our family and guests had at the Canopy by Hilton Dallas during my daughter's quinceañera celebration last September.From the moment you arrive, this hotel sets itself apart. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care shown by the staff is truly exceptional. A special shout-out to Stacy at valet, who welcomed everyone with a smile and made every arrival and departure feel effortless. It's people like him who create a memorable guest experience.We selected the Canopy as our host hotel for out-of-town family and friends, and it exceeded every expectation. Nathan, who handled our group accommodations, was absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the planning process. He was responsive, professional, accommodating, and helped ensure everything ran smoothly for our guests.The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that make guests feel special. From the welcoming charcuterie boards and wine to the wonderful amenities and high-quality toiletries, every detail reflects the hotel's commitment to hospitality. And I would be remiss not to mention the cozy Canopy socks—a small touch that became a favorite among our family and guests!One of the true gems of the property is the rooftop restaurant and bar. The views of the Dallas skyline are simply stunning and provided the perfect gathering spot for our family throughout the weekend. Whether enjoying a cocktail, a meal, or simply taking in the scenery, it's an experience that shouldn't be missed.Planning a major family celebration can be stressful, but the Canopy team made our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated from start to finish.   Here’s a polished review you could post:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We had a wonderful stay at the Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof. The staff was exceptional from start to finish, and their attentiveness truly stood out. Everyone made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay.The breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty of options and excellent service. What impressed me most, however, was the honesty and dedication of the team. After checking out, I realized I had accidentally left behind a necklace. When I called the next day, the staff quickly located it and safely held it for me until I could return to collect it.I would especially like to recognize Ukita, Karabo, and Letsepa, who all went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made our visit even more memorable.Thank you to the entire Canopy team for such a great experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town.

  Comfortable Rooms and Love the Location

  We enjoyed staying at this hotel; this was our second time staying here, and we would happily return. Since we're Hilton Honors members, we received a nice little gift bag at check-in that had delicious shortbread cookies from a nearby bakery and two bottles of water; we really appreciated that. Our room had a very comfortable king-sized bed, large flat-screen t.v., coffee maker, desk, a nice sitting area, and a refrigerated drawer where we could store cold drinks. No closet, but there was a rack where we could hang our clothes. The hotel has lots of nice touches like infused water in the lobby, ice and water dispensers on every floor, refillable carafes, and a beautiful rooftop bar with a view of the downtown skyline. The neighborhood is walkable and felt very safe; there's also a free trolley stop out front and a DART rail line close by. We requested a bathtub like we had last time and a downtown view but didn't receive either of those things which was fine, but they would have been nice to have. Housekeeping was great, and the valet service was speedy and very personable. Looking forward to our next trip and would definitely stay here again in the future.
