    Very Disappointing Stay!!!

    My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing.From the moment I arrived, the hallways and common areas smelled strongly of marijuana. The room itself was not clean—there was visible black mold in the shower, and the overall cleanliness was far below standard.To make matters worse, I planned to relax by the pool on a Friday afternoon in June, only to find it locked. When I asked the front desk, I was told it hadn’t been cleaned. That’s unacceptable.The breakfast was also a letdown. Many of the appliances didn’t work properly—I had to physically hold the toaster down just to get it to function.This experience fell far short of basic expectations for hospitality and cleanliness.

    Stood at the front desk for 20 minutes. Never saw a person, when the front desk clerk finally showed up she said “what do you want”. Key stops working at least once a day. have to run the key through the door 25 plus times to get the door to open when the key is working.

    This is an ex-Best Western. The new owners renovated the place, but did not modernize it. The place has very few amenities, but it is a good value. Rates are low, but not "flop house" low. It's clean and on a state highway that has lots of stores. Have breakfast at trhe coffee house next door. The staff, though clueless, is friendly and tries to be helpful. You won't go wrong bunking here for a few nights.As of October 2024, the entitre place needs the ancient magnetic card door locks replaced.

    Booked two rooms and both had roaches. Vending machine was not working, our drain in the shower wouldn’t drain. Looked like mold growing by the bathtub. Wasn’t that clean and pool area needed major work. Breakfast was ok and beds weren’t bad.

    Here for a conference. Several teachers stayed here. Some are close business associates and friends. Only thing nice was the AC. The rooms smell of mold/pee. Half the bulbs don’t work. I had to spray Lysol twice a day on the ac filters to get a better smell in the room. The beds, wow. A Futon would be more comfortable.
