    Breakfast was the worst Ive ever had at a hotel- I couldn't even bring myself to eat any of it besides the potatoes. The pictures of the pool were not pictures of the pool on the hotel site. The pool was also closed at arrival which was not mentioned on the website. They are also doing remodels and the fire department was there when we checked in and the air was off so it was very hot in the lobby area. Because I got a non-refundable room, despite all the obstacles and false advertisement they would not refund me or even put me at sister hotel with an open and working pool.

    Our room had a giant pregnant cockroach, 3 spiders, and a bug in the bed. It also had various areas with damage and or poor, unfinished construction. The elevator is not functioning properly. The call buttons on the third floor do not work, and guests are instructed to call the front desk for elevator service. The front desk repeatedly does not answer, forcing me to use the stairs despite having a sprained foot. Additionally, the pool has been closed for multiple days, the front gate is broken, the lobby AC is not functioning, and there are significant maintenance issues throughout the property.

    Location is amazing for my business needs. I have stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years. The same core issues remain. The elevators are in need of repair. 6 floors with one elevator functioning is not something busy guests want to face after a long day. The non-functioning AC on the main level and community/shared space is unacceptable for Texas climate.

    Rude front desk staff. Starting with the manager onsite. Pool not open during our stay due to maintenance but manager stated that the pool has been closed since January and that he does have to discuss any more details with me. AC in the lobby not working. Elevator getting stuck at times. Housekeeping deserves 5 star.
