    Crappy bathroom design

    The hotel itself is very nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful. So why 2 stars? Because the bathroom is open to the room. It seems like this layout would work great for a single business traveler, but I can’t imagine any other instance where this bathroom layout would work. If you have to turn on the toilet or sink light, it will wake up everyone else in the room. It was not fun having my son wake up multiple times in the middle of the night when my husband and I had to use the toilet or shower. And I loved the fact that in order to change in private, I had to stand in the wet shower, or on top of the toilet. The layout is just not functional, and I will be avoiding rooms like this in favor of privacy and peaceful sleep.     Loved this hotel—beautiful rooms with a boutique Manhattan feel, and all the staff were super helpful and so nice. The rooftop bar has an incredible vibe and amazing views. We didn’t end up eating at Corrine, but Taylor behind the bar was fantastic.The location is a huge win too, right by 16th Street. We usually stay at the Hilton across from my office, but they were booked this time… and honestly, this place just became our new go-to.     Amazing Rooftop Bar

    The rooftop bar had a great vibe for mid afternoon! The weather was perfect and the bartender JAMES, was very friendly and gave a great recommendation for their espresso martini! He encouraged guests to utilize the waitstaff at their tables instead of jamming up the bar area so guests and staff could move around easily. I will definitely be returning in the future!
