    Poor policies on holding machines

    Team members place high jackpot machines in "out of order" status for up to 2 hours so that players can take a break or go eat thus preventing other players from playing those machines. Not a fair gaming practice.

    Great place to stay, clean, friendly staff, the rooftop pool and hot tubs were wonderful. Shuttle buses run to explore downtown, with pickup right outside the hotel.

    It's a nice hotel. Getting to your room from the parking garage is an adventure. There is no direct way into the hotel to the check in area. You have to use two different sets of elevators to get from your car to the check in and then to your room. There wasn't ice available on our floor. Another elevator trip. The exhaust fan didn't work in either room of the bathroom. We've stayed at the Ameristar one other time and the exhaust fan didn't work in that room either. We thought it was just a fluke. Apparently not. The side of the bed facing the window was worn out. When I sat on that side near the nightstand, I sank halfway to the floor and my book slid off to the floor. I had to nearly sleep in the middle to not feel like I was laying on a hill.

    The room was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool after 7 pm was adults only which we thoroughly enjoyed.

    Machine froze on a high limit spin and threw a code sayin progressive limit reach exceeding lint it had to reboot the machine twice and update the system and they said my spin would finish off how do I not know that it was getting ready to hit or a pay it was on a dollar denom in a 250.00 dollar spin
