  Never again will we stay at this hotel! It was 95 degrees outside and there was no A/C in the hallways and lobby. Therefore, the room would not cool off, even though it was set at 68 degrees. In today’s world of technology, there were no plugs for electronic devices. It is easy to buy lamps or clocks with USB plugs. We had booked for 2 days, but we had to leave after one night. When we left, we had not charged any incidentals to the room, but the hotel charged our credit card the extra $100; therefore, we had to dispute the charges.

  I chose this hotel because it was close to my conference but allowed my family to stay with me. When we arrived and first used the shower, we realized that the shower curtain rod was falling off and drenching the floor in water. We reported it to the hotel staff because my senior mother was traveling with me and it was a fall risk for her. They fixed it..but charged us $30 dollars to fix it. Since the towels were all wet from cleaning up the floor we asked for more towels. My daughter had used 1 towel to dry her hair and didn’t realize her temporary hair dye had come out. They then charged us $39 for the 1 towel. Upon checking Yelp reviews, other customers complained of the same curtain rods. No help from choice customer service to remove the extra charges. Stay somewhere else that won’t charge you for their repairs.

  I hate not writing praise, but…

  This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. First, the good.The room was large. Air conditioning/heater fan would run without cutting off. Pillows and bedding were soft. There were two TV’s. The room was quiet. The staff were pleasant. Located next to Applebees and Rosie’s Diner.Now the not so good.I didn’t like the $50 damage deposit. I didn’t like that we were charged for our entire stay on the first night of our planned six night stay. We left after the first night. It took a week to have our money refunded. Although the room was large, it was poorly maintained. Light bulbs were out or missing. Dirty hand prints on the curtains, peeling paint, repurposed cabinets, the entry door was so misaligned light would shine through. There were also vehicles in the parking lot that appeared not to have been moved in a few days judging from the amount of snow accumulated on them, as well as an old Class C motorhome in the parking lot that was in poor condition.Once I returned home, I realized that my final bill and and refund did not seem quite right. Reading over the details on my folio, the $50 deposit fee had been changed to an ‘admin.’ fee. I sent an email to the hotel general manager who said the person who checked me out made a mistake and sent me a new folio showing the money returned to my credit card. I suspect it will take another week for the refund to show up.The first thing I did after learning the hotel charges a $50 damage deposit was to take photos of the room in case there would be a problem upon checkout. I should also say that when my first folio was given to me, the $50 damage deposit was included in the total, but not listed on the folio. I had to request an itemized folio which was then provided.

  Overall, my stay here was nice enough. It is in a great location and there are also plenty of places to eat in walking distance. The clerk that checked me in was great. She was quite friendly throughout the process. The room was pretty standard for this price range quite clean. There do seem to be some unsavory characters in the area. I never felt unsafe in the parking lot, but I did worry about leaving things in my car. It's great that the property is non-smoking, but I had a 1st floor room facing the front and right outside my window was where many smokers would congregate and chat. Overall, I might stay here again if in the area, but I would be just as likely to take my chances somewhere different.

  Comfortable affordable & clean place to stay near airport

  We found a good rate here for 92.00 w tax. When we walked in hotel we were greeted by Quevette at the front desk. We did not have a reservation and she was most pleasant anyway. She made a special trip up to the 3rd floor to check to see if a room was ready. when she returned she explained just a 15 minute wait and we could ck-in as it was before the 3:00 pm check in time- We were very weary travelers on our way home from visiting Colorado Rockies, Grand Tetons Yellowstone Little Bighorn Memorial Park, Devils Tower, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Wall drugs, and Hot Springs SD. We were tired. Quevette advised if the room was not satisfactory to let her know and she will arrange another room. The room was clean comfortable and next day we had free breakfast and off to the airport- Hotel is 20 - 30 minutes from airport ….Good place to stay but hotel could use some touch ups.
