    So welcoming from the texts to actual staff interactions. Everything about our room was perfect, right down to the yellow rubber ducky on the bathtub. Great breakfast. Very tasty (homemade) biscuits and gravy. Eggs, sausage, burritos you couldn't possibly go hungry. Wonderful breakfast attendant. Best price as well. I would rate it more stars if I could.

    I just reviewed a Comfort Inn Suites in Grove City, Ohio, that was disappointing. This Comfort Inn does it right. Great check in crew, very responsive. Clean room nice pool and hot tub. An outdoor smoking area with pergola next to a creek for everything legal in Colorado. Breakfast had cheese omelets. Ham. Scrambled eggs. Breakfast burrito. Biscuits & gravy. Waffles. Hard boiled eggs. Greek and fit yogurt. Apples. bananas. oranges. cut fruit. Raisins and nuts for oatmeal. One of the best included breakfasts I have ever had. The attendant came out every 5 minutes and reloaded and was very pleasant. This is what Comfort Inns should emulate. There is also a local restaurant across the parking lot that I would recommend from an earlier stay

    Mildew in the Lobby and Main Floor areas

    The hotel itself is very nicely presented and updated. The staff was nice, the room was clean, and the breakfast selections and food were very good.However, they have a really bad mildew problem in the main floor lobby area, hall to main floor rooms and the breakfast area. I could smell it as soon as I walked into the lobby. The smell carried up into the elevator, but as we stayed on the 3rd floor, our room was not effected by it. I would have immediately told them I wasn't staying there if the smell was upstairs as well. My guess is they have a problem with the ventilation area in the pool room which is just off the lobby area. I would advise people with respiratory/allergy problems not to stay there until it's been fixed.

    Actually, we stayed 2 separate nights--on our way from Las Vegas in October and on our way back from Michigan. Room 303 and 211 were very clean with nice towels. Breakfast area was kept clean with staff very attentive to empty food trays, dirty tables, etc. Hot food, was great, especially the potatoes which the attendant told us she makes fresh every day. Fresh fruit and and fresh fruit salad, also. Two problems. There is only one ice maker located on the first floor. The flooring is tile and gets very wet. Maybe there could be something there to sop up the melted ice--it was slippery when I got ice.On our return trip, we were able to check in early, and were grateful. However, the clerk insisted that I show the AAA card I had used to receive the discount. She said this was to ensure I was entitled to the perk. I had to go out to the car to get the card from my husband. I pointed out that the discount for AAA/AARP/seniors were all the same plus I am a Choice Hotels Gold member and all is in my profile when I made the reservation. This didn't make a difference to her. I usually click "senior" but guess I didn't for this reservation. We stayed in 10 Choice properties this trip and this was the only time I was asked for anything more than "picture ID". I thought it strange.We would stay here again.

    We as a family were very pleased with our stay! The workers we encountered were competent and friendly, the room was comfortable, the amenities were excellent (even warm cookies when we checked in), the breakfast was satisfactory, and the price was very fair for value of the accommodations.
