    The rooms are clean, the staff are so kind and accommodating, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The lobby has a lounge area that is conducive for community gathering (playing games, watching sports games). They have a microwave in the lobby so your leftovers don’t go to waste. The lobby also has a lot of comfortable seating (for large grounds and for solo hanging activities) with MANY charging ports. I also saw they had a bar, and a convenient self-service market for snacks. Ooh also their continental breakfast had a lot of hot food options (in this economy!?! Very appreciated) I went to get breakfast at 9:30 am (they stop breakfast at 10) and saw they ran out of all the hot food. I thought they would just leave it since they only had 30 mins of breakfast service left, NOPE! They brought out fresh trays of bacon, scrambled eggs, and French toast sticks! 10 out of 10 would come back. Free WiFi also a plus. Only this is cleaning service is once a week so I ran out of hand wash. But they replaced it when i asked!     Dishonest and irresponsible staff

    I book this hotel for one night for a transit stay.but one night became the most terrible experience. The staff were irresponsible I checked out on May 8 8:30am and kept my luggage on the front desk. Several hours after checking out, I found my necklace left on the desk of bathroom, I called the hotel and waited for more than 5 minutes, one person just answered, she rejected to find my item, I told her that I will leave Denver this evening, but she said they won’t take any action only if I filled the form in that website. I arrived hotel around 6pm, and told the front desk about my left item, the staff said they didn’t find it and they couldn’t find the housekeeper at that time. The next day I received the email from that website told me the item was found on May 8,on the day I checked out, but I already left US, the only way is shipping the necklace to my address. I have paid the delivery fee but it almost one week, the hotel hasn’t shipped it. Other ridicules thing is this hotel charged me additional fee without any notification. I checked statement and found that transaction by myself. The hotel said this fee is for late check out that my check out time was 12:08pm. Indeed I checked out at 8:30 am in the morning then attended a tour to Rocky maintain. On 12:08 pm I already arrived the bear lake of the maintain! How can I check out 110 mlis away? So now I still haven’t get my necklace and still paid this additional “late check out fee”. It seems that the whole management of this hotel is all in mess! The staff are dishonest and unreliable

    Great Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks

    I recently stayed at Tru By Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center and overall had a positive experience.The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. My room was clean and comfortable, and everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. One standout was the continental breakfast. It was outstanding with a great variety of options and a well-organized setup.That said, there were a couple of drawbacks. Ice buckets were not provided in the rooms. When I requested one, it took over an hour to receive, as it appears both the front desk and housekeeping were understaffed. Additionally, while I appreciate the eco-friendly squeeze bottles for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion, they were difficult to use, particularly for someone like me with arthritis.Overall, it’s a lovely hotel, but a few operational and accessibility improvements would make the stay even better.     Difficult stay at Tru by Hilton in Denver

    We were very disappointed in our stay at the Tru by Hilton in Denver. We only stayed for one night. Our first room on the 12th floor smelled like wet dog and had a broken wall unit. We asked for another room because the smell did not go away and it felt grimy. We were moved to the 21st floor and the air conditioning did not work. It was late and we were tired from the basketball game, so we just went to bed. This was a very challenging night without air conditioning and the windows didn’t open. We will not stay in a Tru Hilton ever again.
