  I have stayed at many Marinas, this was by far the worst dockmaster I believe I've ever encountered. Sara was always giving snotty looks at us when passing by and simply just not doing a well job. If your looking for a cheap place to stay then this is where to go but the people are RUDE!!! Beautiful views just horrible Dock master. We will not return until they find better people.

  We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Banana Bay Resort & Marina in Marathon and highly recommend it! It is a true tropical oasis, super quiet, and with a relaxed vibe that's perfect for unwinding. The facilities are spotless, the pool area is amazing, and having the marina right there adds an incredible touch. Plus, the location is perfect. The service was top-notch and the staff was very friendly. A well-deserved five stars!   Wonderful weekend stay at Banana Bay Resort & Marina.

  We had a wonderful weekend stay at Banana Bay Resort & Marina. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Emmanuel, the general manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit, explore, and enjoy around Marathon, which really made our trip memorable.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the marina area, where you can watch the most beautiful, breathtaking sunsets. The location of the resort is also excellent, conveniently near the Seven Mile Bridge, which is another amazing spot to witness the sunset and enjoy the scenery. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the quality of the stay and the great location. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!   Second time is not a charm

  We stayed at this “resort” during Covid. It was average then but didn’t think anything about it since we were dealing with circumstances. We read that they did upgrades and decided to revisit this May. Well, the rooms are upgraded. I think we were given the only room without a balcony even though they were not at capacity. Rooms are spacious and adequate. Breakfast included is less than adequate. Prepackaged muffins, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and cold cereals. Microwave needs a good cleaning. First morning there, we had to ask for plates. The pool needs a major overhaul. The border inside the pool is falling apart. They have sun coverings but are all torn and pool furniture has seen better days. When we checked in the attendant mentioned the bar for sunset and happy hour. Well we got the sunsets but bar was never open. Why offer that if it doesn’t exist? I had several dealing with the front desk and with the exception of my checkout, the staff was distant and aloof. And shame on me for not realizing there was an extra “resort fee” and parking fee. Needless to say, we will never visit again.
