    Pretty Location, Ridiculous Bathroom Window & Glass slider bathroom door

    This is a great location, we flew into the Marathon airport and it is very close by. We were about an hour to an hour and fiteen minutes either way to Islamorada or to Key West. The rooms were spacious but the mini fridge in it is VERY tiny. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been with some weird stains on the sofa and the comforter on one of the beds. The beds are pretty good but the pillows are very flat. My biggest gripe has to be the window inside the bathroom. When someone goesinto the bathroom during the middle of the night and accidentally turns on the light they shine right through the window. You also see weird shadows of people dressing or brushing their teeth. I really don't understand who thought YES PUT A BATHROOM WINDOW IN. The sliding door to the bathroom is also made of glass. The glass is frosted but it still lets you see silhouettes and lets out all that light into a dark room. And the walls of the bathroom are thin. You better turn up your TV because you will hear every single sound that comes out of it. I mean come on Hilton, don't you think you could spend a few dollars to better insulate the walls around the bathroom? The resort looks really nice, good pools and it was very quiet. It was pretty expensive but the keys are smaller and I understand that there is not an abundance of hotel rooms to choose from.

    This is a wonderful place to stay. Clean rooms, live entertainment nightly, good restaurant and beautiful views. AND free parking. Our only concern was there was a big wedding party staying and when we checked in there were no room options so for our Hilton Diamond for Life status we didn’t get a great room. We actually moved from the first room cause window overlooked all the heating air conditioning units and beside the elevator, next room was a parking lot view on first floor. But, hey, room was clean, a/c worked well and beds were comfy. We would recommend and would come back. The staff were very friendly.
