Location

This resort is located on the island of Duck Key, in the middle of the Florida Keys, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The Dolphin Research Centre is some 3.7 km away, Curry Hammock State Park is about 8.4 km, Long Key State Park is around 9.8 km away and it is just approximately 17.7 km from Sombrero Beach. The hotel lies around 1 hour away from the tourist centre and city centre of Key West and offers a charming alternative to a hotel in the town. Local attractions include the Turtle Hospital (around 20.9 km), Seven Mile Bridge (about 22.5 km) and the Bud N Mary Dive Center (some 28.9 km). Marathon Airport is located roughly 13 km from the hotel and it is approximately 160 km to Miami International Airport.

Facility

The 159 rooms and 18 suites have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 225 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Rooms

Rooms feature a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning and central heating ensure comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 5 freshwater pools, which are outdoors and in part heated. There is a special swimming area for little ones as well. The pool area also includes a hot tub, a waterslide and a pool bar. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, crazy golf and fishing. Water sports available at the complex include water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, yoga and callisthenics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a beauty salon, massage treatments and anti-ageing treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and a steam bath. An entertainment programme and a kids' club are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Very nice property that is great for families. Clean, well kept and great service. Justin (pool attendant at the adult pool) took great care of us. The property has nice conference facilities and several very good dining options. There is an attached marina with great charter options.
