Location

Located in the heart of the Old Town, 1 block from the attractions of Duval Street and Mallory Square, the beach hotel is an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Bicycle and scooter rentals are available nearby.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 118 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Amenities provided in the rooms include slippers and a daily paper. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can taking a refreshing dip or just relax in the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy cycling/mountain biking and fishing. For a fee, golf is also available. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes jet skiing, motorboat rides, canoeing, snorkelling and diving, with windsurfing and sailing available for a fee. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, yoga and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and live music are also options for entertainment.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a café and a bar. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Great hotel on the water, near Key West Express and near Duval

    Three of us couples traveled together and stayed here at Hyatt Centric. We arrived on the Key West Express and it was not too far of a walk to the Hyatt. We had a GREAT experience at this hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We loved our stay here. The food also on site is fantastic as well and a short walk to Duval Street or Mallory Square. Nice job Hyatt.

    Our stay was just OK, and I would have expected more from a Hyatt property. The location is great being close to Duvall and Front streets, and it is on the water which is nice. But the property is dated and showing its age. The pictures of the rooms on the website were not accurate compared to even the upgraded room we had. Literally half of the room sq. ft. was a hallway leading to the "real" room. The bed and dresser were so cramped that two people could not pass in between at the same time. In a 425 sq.ft. room our living space was about 200 sq. ft. The bathroom was tastefully renovated but the main room was aged. The kicker is that I had asked for an upgraded room to a partial ocean view and since it was our anniversary the manager offered it at a discounted rate, which was great. Upon reviewing the invoice after check-out I realized that they charged the full amount for an upgrade. I've talked to the hotel representatives several times to have a credit applied and they have not credited me or returned my calls. Also, be aware that they charge a hefty resort fee that you find out about when you check out. We were charged $69.75 (incl. tax) per day. As I stated earlier it was an "OK" stay but there are way better places to stay that actually feel like a resort. Check our bill carefully and ask about all extra fees ahead of time.     Wonderful location on the water with perfect sunsets. Fishing boat can pick up at the dock. Central to everything bars, restaurants. Quite, Clean, large rooms, very lay back.     Cannot say enough good things about Hyatt and our experience. This was a birthday celebration trip with friends and from the beginning Erin ( concierge) was so helpful with plans, and Serina at Four Seasons also. Four Seasons fabulous for appetizers and drinks on several occasions and Veli our waiter was wonderful and attentive. Housekeeping perfect and I thank Angie, Dona and Evelyne. Lastly, Anna manager and at the front desk and Jake both so helpful and went above and beyond to answer questions and assist. All in all a fantastic stay and Hyatt venue perfect!     Would highly recommend this resort. Accommodations, services and restaurants were great!. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for renovations while we were there but we had access to a neighboring pool.
