This resort is located right in the heart of Hollywood.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Rooms

The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, golf, fishing and horse riding. With canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, the complex also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, callisthenics and aerobics.     location was good, not a very clean place on the top floor (41) never had any available towels or umbrella's for the beach! the amount of money we paid and can't get on the beach (8am) used the VIP ($100 day) valet and the staff were speeding in the cars and very rude!     Absolutely not recommended - poor management, dirty rooms, noisy resort

    The bad experience started with the fact that we couldn't check in until around 5.30 p.m., even though I had booked an early check-in for $50.00 extra, which was not visible in the hotel system. Nevertheless, we were promised the fastest possible check-in and that they would contact us as soon as the room was ready. Since no one contacted us, we drove to the hotel after 4 p.m. back to inquire. Long story short, no one knew anything. After a few back-and-forth phone calls, we were assigned a room. When we entered the room, we immediately noticed an unpleasant smell.The room smelled strongly of marijuana and contained visible residues. Most unacceptable was that I was there with my family. We found a joint on the balcony and a second smoked joint inside the safe. A child being exposed to this is entirely unacceptable. Melvin the guy at the reception was the only one, who was very helpful and frindly in arranging another room, which was fine, but the situation resulted in the loss of most of our first day. Next day, we wanted to speak to the manager. Other reception staff tried to stop us and promised that the manager would get back to us. Although we contacted the manager by email and left messages on his answering machine, no one has gotten back to us in the two months since. The management doesn't care about its customers at all. This attitude is evident throughout the entire facility. The rooms are not clean, the valet parking service is disastrous and very poorly organized, the swimming pool is dirty, and the clientele is very loud and badly behaved, especially in and around the elevator. Therefore, I would absolutely not recommend this resort.     Very poor Reception Staff

    We booked our stay here through Airbnb But we had to check in at the reception and pay a fee for a wrist band to use the hotel facilities which we were aware of The issue is with the Reception Staff Firstly she was not able to find the booking No apology for the wait Didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing Secondly she did not explain what the breakdown of the charge was on my credit card And Finally She Gave No Directions to the lifts which caused us to go up 25 floors in the wrong lift When I returned to the reception after dragging all our luggage half way across the hotel she informed us with No Apology the lift we required was in the opposite direction General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Lyfe Resort & Residences, responded to this review Dear G14G,Thank you for sharing your experience with us.     Terrible, stay elsewhere

    The check-in experience was horrible. The overnight front desk guy Alex is a moron. He didn’t seem to understand what a reservation number was. He couldn’t find my reservation even though I confirmed it a couple hours earlier today. Said they don’t use reservation numbers… huh?! This went on for about 10 minutes. I confirmed I was at the right hotel, Lyfe Hollywood FL, yes. I listed the name of 10 other colleagues also stayning here - does he have their reservations? Through an endless haze of his confusion oh, he found it. I had told him I was here for business and he wanted to ramble on about beach chairs. I said I won’t have time for beach. He proceeded to ramble on further about beach chairs. WTF dude - do you have any ability to read the room? Obviously, no. I get to my room- someone else’s black hairs are everywhere. Let me just take a shower and wash this bad start off, nope. Shower is gross and the light doesn’t work. Sigh, I’ll call to see if maintenance can do something about the light tomorrow. lord knows front desk dude couldn’t do something as challenging as a mairequest!I’m going to have 5 nights here, ugh!
