  Renter Beware!!!

  RENTER BEWARE!!This hotel is one of the worst places I have ever rented.The rooms are very old and have never been updated. The beds are smaller than advertised and very uncomfortable. Cockroaches are frequent members in the washrooms. The internet is very slow and the televisions are smaller than average and very poor quality.We were so disappointed that we had to leave after two days.In talking to the manager Andrew, we agreed to pay for three days (although only stayed for two) and would be refunded through Expedia for 1 day.The refund was approved and to our surprise Andrew charged us a couple of days later, for the extra day on a credit card we used for the security deposit. When Expedia attempted to contact Andrew to ask why he had done this he hung up on them. I tried to call them and after several attempts they finally answered. After finding out who I was they put me on hold and never did get back to me.I also attempted to email them for an explanation with no response.If considering this location, please read reviews carefully as many do not reflect the reality of this dump. At no point during your stay did you bring any of these concerns to our staff, which would have allowed us to address them immediately. Instead, as you openly stated, you chose to contact Expedia first—something you indicated is your typical approach when seeking refunds.Let’s be clear about the facts: your security deposit was fully returned, and you were refunded correctly for the unused night exactly as agreed. The minor confusion regarding which card was processed was explained to you in detail at the time. To now label this as “fraud” is completely false and irresponsible.It is also worth noting that you left the property on friendly terms with no indication of the extreme dissatisfaction you later described online. This contradiction speaks for itself.We stand by our property and our team, and we take pride in handling guest concerns professionally and fairly. We encourage prospective guests to consider the full context of all reviews rather than relying on statements that are clearly inconsistent with the facts.

  Worst motel in Hollywood

  If I could rate this motel a zero I would. We check in and the room was so small that the toilet was so close to the wall you could not sit down without knees touching (scraping) the wall. The plumbing and electrical is unsafe. We asked for a larger room they said it would be $300 extra for 5 day and we agreed. Once we moved out the $300 now has become $889.00. We said we are checking out and the said we can’t leave? We found the larger room offered on Expedia for less than we paid for postage stamp room that motel wanted $889 more. After leaving they charged our credit card which we filled protest of charge for no service.

  Quaint little motel right on the beach

  We stayed here after a week on a cruise and wanted to just lay low and walk along the boardwalk. The motel itself is small, no pool but it 20 steps away from the boardwalk. They have complementary chairs and umbrellas for the beach as well as two bikes to use to ride the boardwalk. You are literally next door to Margaritaville. The water taxi station is close to take you back to Fort Lauderdale to sightsee. The room itself is adequate with a queen bed, fridge, microwave and a bathroom with a shower. The complimentary soaps/shampoos' were a nice touch . The air conditioner was having a hard time keeping up (older) but not too hot that it was unbearable. The front staff were extremely friendly and accommodated us with an earlier check in and holding our luggage after check out until it was time to go to the airport. Would definitely stay there again!

  Stayed here in January and are leaving today after another stay. Perfect location and super friendly staff. Love the old Florida feel, especially the courtyards for relaxing outside in the mornings and evenings. My friends and I will be back!

  Staff here is so accommodating, anything we needed, it was delivered. I also online ordered from Walmart, upon checking in,it was ready and waiting, even got a little carrying it to our room. Location can’t be beat,Steps to the beach, TV channel selection as good. We had a little kitchen and it was perfectly set up with all the needs!
