    Worst Hotel ever and I only stay for 20 minutes because they cancel my confirmed reservation.

    Worst hotel ever.. I got a confirmation number for my stay with them and they tell me they are booked, I need to call the site that I used to make the reservation to get refunded.. in do that and the site tells me that this hotel confirmed the reservation and did not informed them of any problems with the stay, while I am waiting there another couple also got the reservation cancel despite having confirmation numbers.. and there is another lady at the counter arguing with the front desk manager because they over charged her account $2,700 dollars and are not able to reverse the charges because the manager that can do that does not work on weekends.. in the end I am glad I didn’t get to stay on this joke of a hotel.. if you can avoid it please do so.

    Diarrhea stained on the floor

    Booked this place on Orbitz at 9:30 at night, exhausted and just looking for a bed. Walked into the room and was immediately greeted by what can only be described as a dog diarrhea crime scene—a giant, dried stain dead center of the floor. Not hidden. Not subtle. Bold. Confident. Like it paid rent.Went down to the front desk to speak with Mari (with an “I”), hoping for the bare minimum of customer service. Instead, I was told they couldn’t switch rooms because “all the rooms are stained” and the floors were scheduled to be replaced in August.So… you KNOW they’re disgusting, but you’re still renting them out? Cool strategy.Then came the highlight of the evening: Mari informed us that we should never walk in the hotel without shoes on.Ma’am—if footwear is mandatory for survival, maybe the issue isn’t the guests. Maybe it’s the biohazard flooring.We immediately left (obviously), because sleeping next to mystery feces isn’t on our travel bucket list. The hotel refused to issue a refund, which says everything you need to know.     Our stay was unacceptable, especially traveling with children. We found roaches in our room on three separate occasions and provided photo evidence, including a roach and a visibly dirty sofa. Despite requesting pest control and a full cleaning, no action was taken.We requested housekeeping over 24 hours in advance and kept our 4- and 10-year-old out of the room all day to accommodate it—yet no one ever came.Front desk staff member Marry was dismissive, unhelpful, and offered no room change or solution. Poor hygiene and zero accountability. Strongly not recommended.

    Racist receptionist named Mart Avis

    There is a receptionist named Mart Avis that is completely terrible with hotel guests and is extremely racist. I had a few packages delivered to the hotel and I noticed some were missing. He refused to look and proceeded to call me a liar. He also assumed I was aggressive because of race. This happened twice with him at hotel location 410 N PINE ISLAND RDFORT LAUDERDALE. He then proceeds to tell me he doesn't have to do anything for me when I asked him to look again. I had to wait for the manager who found all my items every time.

    The location is convenient to the grocery store, restaurants and an outlet mall is a short drive away. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and there are good amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the laundry facilities, gym and swimming pool were useful. Breakfast was included but does not meet my nutritional needs, but probably fine for most people. Clean, tidy and I would stay there again.
