    Expensive barely acceptable place to sleep

    Expensive and barely acceptable place to sleep. I arrived late at night and wanted to get a late check out. Found out there was a sliding scale of additional charges depending on you planned departure. Promptly at 1030am, got call to see if I'd be leaving at 11am. I was awake, so just left rather than get a late checkout.

    This motel is (we believe) being used by a prostitution group and for drug deals. We saw the passing of money and a baggy being exchanged and the two people kept looking around themselves, apparently to see if anyone was watching.We saw the same car parking in the motel lot and young women got out of the car and went to a room, a man followed shortly. We called police who said there is a problem with this in the area and they cannot do anything without seeing what is going on in the room. We agree with the many other reviews about the undesirable area and stained sheets. Keep reading more reviews!

    We had reservations for this hotel when we got off the cruise ship at 9:00. I called and asked if they had early check-in. They said yes we could check-in at 11:00. We got there and he said it would be $60 for an early check. He said nothing, zip, zilch, nodda about $60 when I called. We said we would wait till 3:00 in the lobby. I was polite and didn’t get mad!!!Get this…..he said we could not wait in his lobby till 3:00. Found another hotel!

    Do not go here!!! This place is an absolute dump, smelled like urine, bugs and stains on the sheets

    This place is a complete dump, we turn on the heater and urine smell came out! The room was not clean and as we looked for another hotel we saw a roach walk across the night stand. I looked out the window and shady characters were standing on the sidewalk right outside our window. We should have been tipped off right away when we checked in and had to be buzzed into the lobby!We checked out shortly after checking I. And when I asked for a refund and explained the issues with the room, the owner quickly dismissed my complaint, told me I was in the room for 1 hour and the policy is no refunds after 1 hour. We were NOT in the room for an hour. I told her we would put in a complaint and her reply was “GO AHeAD”. Terrible business owner, horrible customer service ! I will be also reporting this business to the BBB and to the super 8 as I’m sure this is an affiliate business.
