Location

This economy hotel is ideal for budget travels and affords a superb location at the centre of Waikiki.     My boyfriend & I went to Waikiki for a long weekend getaway for my birthday. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and in the perfect location. The vibes were great for us - karaoke night and a DJ on the weekend. We booked a deluxe king and it was spacious with a really nice balcony facing the pool. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel. I highly recommend trying the loco moco! We had one night in, so we ate at restaurant and then grabbed drinks at the Lei Stand, both were great! Staff was very friendly throughout the hotel and gave us a lot of recommendations for the local area and surrounding cities. We walked to the Waikiki beach one morning and it was packed so we turned around and drove to a different beach (parking was free outside of Honolulu & Waikiki). Would highly recommend avoiding the beachfront hotels if you like personal space. We loved our stay at Romer House and will definitely be back in the future.

    Great locations and room was nice and clean. Rode the ree hotel bikes to KCC Farmers Market and Kaimana Beach and to the lighthouse. Mia at the front desk was super nice and friendly and lives to chat and shows so much Aloha.

    Gave it 4 stars only because during my stay we were down an elevator and so sometimes you’d be waiting a while for the one working elevator to not be full of people, but once I found the stairs, it wasn’t horrible. Everything else was perfect and everyone was so nice. I loved that the International Market is right across the street, gives easy access to get to the main 2 streets safely & lots of food nearby. Even though I was on the 4th floor, any noise from the bar during the weekend couldn’t be heard. The room was clean for the most part (the shower head needed a little work) & had 2 bottles of water in the fridge. The bed is comfortable and housekeeping cleaned my room and left it fully stocked and clean once I got back from wandering. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend others to try it. If you’re interested in the petit chef dinner, though, you need to reserve online in advance because they’re booked for the most part.
